Hi First name / Slothies!
Last issue, I shared a pretty honest moment about nearly giving up — one of those weeks where your confidence wobbles, your plans feel blurry, and you start questioning everything you thought you were building.
It was vulnerable to write, and even more vulnerable to send.
But after sitting with it, I realized something important:
Sometimes saying the quiet part out loud is what finally makes the pressure ease up.
So this week, I feel less pressure; I intentionally chose softness. I didn’t try to overcorrect or “bounce back.” I just gave myself permission to find one tiny thing I could commit to — something grounding, doable, and not tied to productivity.
And the thing that ended up helping the most was so simple:
Sticking to my habit of reading 10 pages a day.
No dramatic habit stacking.
No aesthetic morning routine.
No big goal attached.
Just ten pages.
Ten pages on the days I felt tired.
Ten pages on the days that were chaotic.
Ten pages when my brain felt overstimulated.
Sticking to this habit helped me finish three books this month! Finishing those books reminded me of something I desperately needed after last week:
💛 Small, steady actions pull you out of spirals better than big, dramatic changes ever will.
It’s not about an overhaul.
It’s not about motivation.
It’s not about doing everything “right.”
It’s about choosing one tiny thing your future self will feel grateful for.
So if you’ve been in your own swirl lately, consider this your gentle permission slip to choose the smallest possible win/habit/action today — one drawer, one task moved out of your head and into a system, one decision that doesn’t require you to hustle.
Ease counts.
Small wins count.
And they add up more than we give them credit for.
