As we wrap up another beautiful year at Round Table Design, I find myself reflecting on the projects—and the people—that make this work feel so meaningful. This season, we’re celebrating something especially close to our hearts: the completion of several projects for one extraordinary family we’ve had the joy of partnering with for a decade.

 

Designing for a client over such a long stretch of time is one of the greatest honors in our business. They trust us, challenge us and inspire us. What began as a single project, has grown into a creative relationship rooted in respect, shared vision, and a genuine love of the work. This most recent collection of projects reflects that synergy in the best possible way.

 

One of the highlights we’re thrilled to share in our December Round-Up is a true generational legacy. It was built with materials gathered from the family land, limestone cut from a West Texas quarry, and many more custom details. It’s a place designed for lifelong memories—and a testament to how simplicity, craftsmanship, and intention can create something deeply moving.

Though the chapel was designed to feel small and intimate, its powder room is full of thoughtful moments we can’t help but adore. The custom marble sink—paired with tailored steel legs—was crafted to feel as if it has belonged here for a century, quietly anchoring the room in timelessness. 

 

The mirror, sourced straight from the Versace Mansion (yes, truly!), adds an unexpected touch of history and glamour. Stone from the family’s own property grounds the space in place, while hand-finished sconces from the renowned Jamb in London cast the softest, most elegant glow. A tiny room, but full of essence.

Peaceful, reverent, and extremely personalized, the Brushy Creek Chapel comes to life through materials that hold meaning at every turn. Custom pews from Birmingham, Alabama and finely crafted hanging globes from England add layers of artistry. The West Texas–quarried floor ties it all together, creating a sense of continuity across the family’s broader properties. The result is a small, soulful chapel—offering a setting meant to honor life’s most cherished moments for generations to come.
