As we head into the second half of the week, I wanted to let you know that this Friday, 12/12, is the cut off for sign ups for January's Creative Spark Club mail and annual subscriptions! This is to make sure I have time to carefully package everything and your mail has enough time to make its way to you!

If you sign up after Friday, the first piece of mail you'll receive will be February's and annual subscriptions will no longer be available.

There are a few perks for annual members: you'll receive 1 month free, you're entered into a raffle to get 6 months free, you'll be able to collect all 12 prompt cards (specially designed for the club so it's not the same as the mini deck), and you'll get to open up your mailbox 12 times and find something way more fun than a bill :) Click here for more details and to sign up.

Here are a few snapshots from my first month of building and sharing this club--I'm keeping some things under wraps for a little longer so hopefully you get a few surprises :) Thank you to each person who has signed up to become snail mail friends with me! This has been a labor of love and I keep thinking about the moment your mail gets delivered and you get to open it up!

I also wanted to share some other creative offerings happening in the new year and invite you to join me!

The 100 Day Project - I'm beginning a new one on January 1st (while in Taiwan!) and following the same format as the past few years of taping up 100 sections and filling one in each day. If you'd like to join me, I'll be sharing the 100 prompts I'll be using and we can do this project together! (These prompts are optional but helpful in case you get stuck and I think it'll be fun to see the different ways we interpret them!) This will be sent out before the end of the month! If you'd like to begin prepping your project, here are a few resources:
You do NOT have to do the same project as me--you can choose whatever project you'd like! And the prompts are flexible and can be used with different mediums. But the invitation is there and you are welcome to join me :)

If you'd like to do this but 100 days seems like waaaay too much (I get it!) try doing 25 days or a number that feels more comfortable for you!

I'm planning on taping mine up before I fly out and bringing it--along with a few supplies--on my trip! I am a tiny bit smiley face with a bead of sweat emoji about this, but I feel like this is embracing the fun of it, finding inspiration daily and in new places (!), and learning how to create art while traveling (something I'd like to do more of.) I'm hoping not to miss any days (I will have 12 days left of my trip when this starts) and if I have to do a section on a plane, that is what I will be doing!

Virtual Workshops - I'll be continuing to host virtual workshops each quarter in the new year! If there's something you'd like to learn or work on together please let me know. I will also be sending out a survey soon to gather your thoughts and what would work best for you.

I have a few more things planned including seasonal 21 Day Projects and I'd love to host another snail mail or postcard swap at some point! I'll share more details as we get closer to the date.

This is my first time I'm flying international and visiting Taiwan in a looong time! I'm excited to get to spend the holidays there with my parents, go to vegan buffets, see nature and animals, and visit ALL the stationery stores!!! I've always loved the letter writing sets there and I can't wait to see what I can find to send to the mail club and to hoard for myself lol. I STILL have rubber stamps and paper I got there when I was in like, 8th grade! (Maaybe I'll use it one day, can you relate :)) If you got any tips for a 13 hr and 10 min flight, please feel free to send them on over!

In the meantime, like many of you, I'm trying to get all the things ready for the mail club, for the holidays, for the trip, and feeling like the days are going by SO fast! So I'm wishing you some calm and peace as we enter the thick of it and hope there are many moments of fun and wonder and joy mixed in there!

Take good care and talk to you soon,

PS: I saw a sweet idea on social media of getting small gifts for flight attendants--I'll be flying near Christmas so wanted to put a little something together! After extensive research on reddit threads and online, I settled on a few small items: vegan chapstick, a pack of Kleenex and emergen-c, and some dairy free Lindt truffles (they are made from oat milk and very good!) I'll also be adding a little thank you note. Thank you in advance to Jessica for offering to help me package these when I see you on Monday! (We only have 15 to do :))
