As the year winds down, I’ve found myself easing into a slower rhythm. I don’t mean anything major, rather just trying to live with a little more intention in the everyday mundane. This season tends to bring us back to what feels familiar and real… our homes, our neighborhoods, the routines we move through on autopilot. It’s been a welcome reminder to notice the beauty right around us and to make time for the people who ground us. I’m not sure if this resonates with you but it’s a theme I’ve come across a lot this year.
It’s also a natural moment to reflect on the work I’m lucky enough to do. I’m deeply grateful for the projects that shaped this year, the families who welcomed me into their homes, the creative challenges that pushed me, and the spaces that evolved into something meaningful. Designing spaces that support the way people live is something I never take for granted.
So as we enter a new year, I’m refreshing my own spaces in small ways. I’m clearing what feels stagnant, shifting things around, and inviting new energy in. It always shocks me how a few simple changes can bring fresh energy into a space and make it feel new again.
I’m very excited for what’s ahead and so thankful for the trust and support that made this year feel so full. Wishing you a season of warmth, gratitude, and the simple beauty of being at home with the ones you love…
