This year, Penticton was proud to be announced as the host destination for the 2026 and 2027 BC Provincial Mine Rescue and First Aid Competitions—a major win for our community and for BC’s emergency response professionals.

Bringing this prestigious event to Penticton was a true collaboration. The City of Penticton, Meet in Penticton, and the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre worked in lockstep to secure and support the competition. Together, we combined municipal leadership, destination expertise, and a premier venue to create an exceptional host environment.

This joint effort reflects our shared commitment to attracting high-calibre events that strengthen the local economy, highlight Penticton’s flexible meeting and event offerings, and deliver memorable experiences for participants and spectators alike. It’s a clear example of what our community can achieve when we move forward together.
