Since the holiday season can be A LOT, I want to ease you into 2026 with a very simple tip:

 

I used Canva just about every weekday last year – creating over 511 designs – and I can tell you that my skill level continues to improve over time and with regular use.

Do you have to be in the top 1% of align elements fans like I was (😂), certainly not! But it does pay to have a handful of go-to features so you have a solid foundation. I find this helps to alleviate the initial overwhelm that many DIYers feel when they first open Canva.
