1st Principle

Looking forward, it appears as if 2026 will be an exciting year - we believe the needle is finally going to move. Over the past couple of years we have been challenging ourselves and others to Think Differently. During this time period we have tried just about everything to keep consumer goods from the landfill. What we knew going into 2025 we quickly understood was not going to move the needle.

As we move into 2026 we are encouraged by the massive progress other industries are making including Ai, Space Travel, Satellites, Computer Chips, Robotics and many more. We have been paying attention to their massive undertaking and have discovered a very simple principle that many of the companies solving problems are using. It is called 1st Principles.

For 2026 we have adopted 1st Principles in all that we do.
This principle is quite simple.
First principles are the fundamental, undeniable truths or basic assumptions of a concept, starting point, or problem, which cannot be broken down further. The method of reasoning from these principles involves stripping away conventional wisdom and assumptions, deconstructing complex issues to their core elements, and then rebuilding solutions from scratch, essentially asking "why?" repeatedly until you reach bedrock truths.

One of the truths that we have discovered is the consumer goods market has a Waste, Energy, Water and Carbon issue – and we are building the solutions to solve. We are breaking down the conventional wisdom that many of us followed and are looking at the core elements. With the work we have done in late 2024 and 2025 with existing technologies including Pyrolysis and Hydrothermal Liquefaction, we are certain these processes will be part of the solution.

We hope you follow along in early January as there will be many announcements what will enable you to participate in 1st Principle thinking.

We look forward to seeing you in 2026!

See you next time,
ReCircled
