One Tiny Tweak

Here’s a small Canva tip that makes a big difference, especially if you care about clean, intentional design.

When you’re working with a headline, try this:
👉 Increase the letter spacing just slightly (between +10 to +50 should do the trick for most fonts).
That's it. Nothing fancy.
This tiny tweak works because:
  • Headlines breathe a little more
  • Text feels cleaner and more modern
  • Your design reads as intentional, not accidental
  • Most people skip these micro-adjustments, but they matter.
Subtle refinements like this quietly build visual trust — the kind where someone looks at a design and thinks, “This feels professional,” even if they don't understand why.

This is also a great example of what I believe about branding:
It’s about doing small things well and with intention.

If you want to give this a try:
  1. Click your headline text in Canva
  2. Open Advanced Settings
  3. Adjust Letter Spacing to +10, +20, or +50
Step back and compare 👀 (once you see it, you won’t unsee it).

I make little design decisions like this all the time because these are the things that elevate a brand. 😘

Until next time,
