You’re receiving this email because you signed up for my free masterclass on creating a successful business by sharing your soul’s gifts. Over the next few days, I'll be sharing deeper stories and insights about what it takes to build a business as a vehicle for your mission.

Real talk: When entrepreneurship is part of your soul's path, it will keep calling you until you answer.

But the call often doesn't sound like what you expect.

You don't receive a Hogwarts letter telling you you're destined for magic, or a visitation from an angel informing you of your sure-to-succeed divine business plan.

Instead, Life shines a light on your path, but doesn't draw the conclusion for you. It leaves space for you to read between the lines of the stories you're living, and to courageously step forward, by your choice alone.

I learned this firsthand.

I spent years ignoring and misinterpreting the ways I was being divinely nudged into what I now understand to be my calling, which includes having a business as a structure to share my teachings with the world.

And I've now seen these patterns play out again and again with hundreds of students.

So, if you're questioning whether you're meant to (or able to) start a business based on your spiritual and creative gifts, read on.

Here are four paradoxical signs your soul is calling you to entrepreneurship, even and especially when you don't think it is:

1. You have gifts / contributions / talents / perspectives that don't have a proper context for their full expression. You're not bringing your whole self to your current work, either because it's just out of scope (i.e. you can't sing your original music at your tech job), or because you're actively being told to tone it down (i.e. don't talk about spirituality in a corporate setting). At some point, you will be faced with the choice: stagnate and decline within a limited environment, or naturally expand beyond it by creating a context in which you can fully transmit your message and medicine.

2. You have a massive vision and you know exactly what you'd do "if you only had the funding." I hear this one a lot: mystical visionaries with new earth blueprints in their beautiful brains, waiting for a mythical funder to arrive to begin the process of creation. Spoiler alert: if it's your vision, you are responsible for bringing it to life, and you might have to become your first angel investor. You will likely have a team, and potentially even donors / funders / investors depending on the project, but only when you fully show up as if you would do it no matter what. Energetically, leaders have to go first. And you're a leader.

3. It's easy for you to point out what others are doing wrong in business. You are repelled by big business tactics and social media antics. You could write a thesis (maybe you actually did haha) on what's wrong with capitalism, but you're not actually in the arena (yet) figuring out how to do it a different way. If you have time to critique, you have time to innovate. You don't have to take on the distortions of the old – you can become an example of how to create structures for giving and receiving that honor all involved.

4. You have struggled in basic versions of business or career, like a business that's a "good idea" but doesn't fully light you up, or a 9-5 job that's "just for the paycheck." You may have had a string of toxic bosses and can't seem to move up professionally in an established field. You might even be rejected from jobs that you are overqualified for, in a way that doesn't make logical sense. These perceived "failures" are a sign that you're being directed to a less conventional approach.

Are you nodding along and seeing yourself in at least one of these?

If so, that's an indication that you are called to create a business that changes the world for the better (and abundantly resources you in return), even if you don't yet understand how.

Next up, we'll talk about what happens when you finally say yes to your calling.

And I’ll tell you the story of how I turned down $100K when I didn’t know how I was going to pay rent, and how that initiated me into creating my own successful business. It’s wild one!

Much love,
Aaron
