Happy New Year: 2025 Year in Review

Hamilton Atelier served as the lead strategic and negotiating counsel behind the foundational partnerships that launched the Prodigy Racing League (PRL), the world’s first equity-driven virtual-to-real motorsports league. Acting as the primary resource and subject-matter expert throughout these negotiations, Hamilton Atelier helped structure and advance three landmark deals that established RPL’s commercial and cultural footing. These included PRL’s partnership with Williams Formula 1, marking the first official Formula 1 team to participate in the league, as well as a strategic alliance with TC Racing, founded by legendary Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Together, these agreements created credible pathways for virtual drivers to access professional motorsports without traditional pay-to-play barriers. Hamilton Atelier also played a central negotiating role in securing the league’s first major television distribution agreement with MAVTV (now The Racer Network), bringing PRL to both linear and streaming audiences and positioning the league within mainstream motorsports media. Building on this foundation, Hamilton Atelier will lead negotiations for the upcoming license of PRL’s docuseries, further extending the league’s narrative and commercial reach across entertainment platforms.

Our work has focused on helping the company scale its operations while expanding its brand presence across multiple ventures. We've provided strategic legal and business advisory services for Un Chin Media's independent film projects, structuring deals that protect creative vision while enabling sustainable production. Additionally, we've negotiated key business partnerships that have expanded the platform's reach and reinforced its mission of authentic Latino representation in media. Milana casillas, Esq
Hamilton Atelier is pleased to welcome Milana Casillas as Of Counsel to the firm. Casillas brings experience across intellectual property, entertainment law, and complex litigation, having represented clients before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and advised on trademark strategy, risk assessment, and entertainment projects spanning podcasts, film, and television. A Los Angeles native and former NCAA athlete, she earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and is admitted to the California Bar.

In a separate case, we represented a plaintiff in a wrongful termination dispute, negotiating a meaningful settlement that delivered substantial relief while sidestepping the risks of trial.
