Power Up Your Intuition: Tune In for the New Year
If you remember the rabbit ear antennas on old TVs, you know what it took to get a clear picture: careful adjusting, maybe some tinfoil, and a lot of faith. The slightest shift could bring clarity—or static.
Your intuition works the same way.

There’s a direct line from your self to your soul to the universe—but it only works cleanly when we clear away the noise. Thoughts, judgments, synthetic distractions, even toxic habits—they can all create static. So how do we fine-tune our own signal?
This is the year to find out.

Tuning Your Inner Antenna: 5 Personal Practices

1. Clear the rubble.
Just like polluted water, intuition gets cloudy with mental and emotional debris. What you take in—through food, media, people, or energy—either nourishes or clogs. Start noticing what lifts your clarity and what fogs it.
2. Question judgment.
When you notice a belief that carries blame or rigidity, ask: Is this helping me stay open? Judgments constrict the channel. Curiosity expands it.
3. Become a label-reader.
Literally. Whether it’s food, lotion, or supplements, manufacturers can (and do) change ingredients. Choose with care and re-check often. Your body knows before you do.
4. Record your gut feelings.
When you get that intuitive hit, write it down by hand. Date it. Then watch what happens next. This is how you teach yourself what your “real knowing” feels like.
5. Use handwriting as memory magic.
Writing by hand stores memory differently than typing. When you add visualization on an inhale, you anchor your awareness deeply. It’s not just mystical—it’s neurological.

Why Writing by Hand Matters

Because handwriting helps anchor memory in a way typing often doesn’t.

And it’s not just a personal habit—it’s backed by fascinating research.
If you’re curious about how sound, frequency, and intuitive development work together, you might enjoy these powerful reads:

📚 For the Curious Reader:
  • Superlearning 2000Sheila Ostrander & Lynne Schroeder
Accelerated learning, intuition, and how sound and frequency affect the brain.
  • Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron CurtainSheila Ostrander & Lynn Schroeder
Breakthrough Eastern European research in bioenergetics and psychic phenomena.
  • The Work of Royal Rife

These are treasures for anyone who wants to go deeper into how we tune ourselves into what is already available within.

Reflection Questions
  • What do I feel when I'm truly tuned in?
  • What is clogging my signal right now—and what might I release?
  • When was the last time I trusted an inner knowing and it proved true?

Closing Thought

Your soul is the hub. The spokes are your actions.

Whether you're changing the bed linens or creating your life’s work, it’s all sacred when your signal is clear.

This year, let’s move with purpose, clarity, and a little more trust in our own inner broadcast.

P.S. If this speaks to you, I’m quietly putting the finishing touches on something special: a guided journal called Whispers of the Dream Bird—a space to explore your intuitive voice and deepen your healing.
If you’d like to be among the first to receive a copy when it’s ready, you can [email here to let me know] and subject: Whispers of the Dream Bird Journal. No pressure—just a gentle invitation.

May your soul stay tuned, your path stay lit, and 2026 whisper everything you need to hear.

In the infinite joyful light,
Nancy

Ylang Ylang™
The Oil of Inner Listening
Ylang Ylang is often spoken of as the oil of the heart, but for intuitive work it does something even more subtle and powerful: it softens the mental noise so intuition can be heard.

As we move into a new year, many people try to think their way forward. Ylang Ylang invites a different path — one of receptivity rather than effort. Its lush, floral aroma gently quiets overactive thoughts, eases emotional tension, and brings awareness down from the busy mind into the heart and body. From that place, intuition becomes less strained and more natural — like remembering a language you already speak.

Energetically, Ylang Ylang helps dissolve self-judgment, impatience, and the need to “get it right.” These are some of the biggest blocks to intuitive clarity. When the nervous system relaxes, perception widens. Insight arrives softly, without force.

This makes Ylang Ylang especially supportive for:

  • Trusting first impressions
  • Receiving intuitive nudges rather than chasing answers
  • Opening to guidance with gentleness instead of urgency
  • Beginning a new year from alignment rather than pressure
Ways to Use Ylang Ylang to Power Up Intuition

1. Diffusing for Inner Stillness
Diffuse 3–4 drops while journaling, meditating, or setting intentions for the year.
Ask a simple question — then listen without trying to solve. Ylang Ylang supports receiving rather than analyzing.

2. Heart-Center Anointing
Dilute 1 drop with a carrier oil and apply over the heart center.
This is especially helpful before intuitive decision-making, creative work, or reflective writing.

3. Before Sleep for Dream Insight
Diffuse lightly or place a diluted drop on the bottoms of the feet before bed.

Ylang Ylang encourages intuitive messages to surface through dreams and subtle impressions.

4. Intuitive Reset Ritual
When feeling scattered or overwhelmed:
Take a slow inhale from the bottle
Exhale longer than you inhale
Repeat 3 times
This signals the body that it’s safe to soften — and intuition often follows immediately.

5. New Year Intention Practice
As you begin the year, place a drop (diluted) on the wrists.
Instead of asking What should I do this year?
Try asking: What wants to emerge through me?

With love,
Nancy 💛
