Dear First name / friend,

Welcome to Day 7 of the January No-Shopping Reset.

Here’s a hard truth — and one I see constantly (including in my own closet):

Most unnecessary shopping starts because something isn’t working…
but we haven’t clearly identified what.

So we guess.
We buy “similar but better.”
We grab something on sale and hope it solves the problem.

It usually doesn’t.

Today’s action:
👉🏼 Go stand in your closet and identify one specific issue that’s making getting dressed harder than it should be.

Not five things.
Not everything.
Just one.

Be concrete. For example:

“I don’t have complete outfits — just pieces.”
“Most of this feels too casual for my real life.”
“Things technically fit, but don’t feel good on.”
“I own a lot, but nothing feels current.”

Now here’s the important part:

Do not shop for this.
Do not fix it today.

Just write it down.

Because once you can clearly name the problem, you stop throwing random purchases at it — and that alone saves money.

Tomorrow, we’ll focus on what already works.
That’s where momentum comes from.

Talk tomorrow,
Beth
