✨This year, I am showing up for me ✨
first, working to get back into a gym flow

Wellness Corner

Physical Wellness: Last year, my sister started Pilates and ended up doing about 88 classes throughout the year. Alex Elle, on IG, also started Pilates last year and enjoyed it so much that she got her certification. We all know how important it is to move our bodies, but one way to encourage more movement is to do enjoyable activities. This year, I hope to restart my challenging yet fun activities- tennis, pole, and climbing. Homework: Find movement that's fun.

Environmental Wellness: Next month, my introduction will focus on AI and its impacts on the environment.🤖 I'll be in conversation with a seasoned expert on this topic, so if you have any questions, send them my way.

Digital wellness: Nicole Cardoza writes about “How limiting your screen time can redefine you and help us arrive at the tomorrow we deserve.” This was a great read, providing both resources and data for those who truly want to have a different relationship with technology. Rotary phone, anyone? ☎️

Physical Wellness:  The season is ripe for cozy, comforting meals. A classic for my family is vegetarian chili from Cookie and Kate. Baby Bonus: I don't put chili powder in, and it's a hit with Harmony. Please send your favorite comfort meals. 🥘

Creative Wellness: Last month, I finally got to Creative Mornings PHL. I've been wanting to go for years. The speaker was Val Gay, a woman whom I met well over a decade ago, and is an integral part of why I want to continue in fitness. More on that later. Creative Mornings also has field trips, which are free, community-led, virtual experiences.

Remember:
Wellness includes physical, occupational, social, financial, mental/emotional, spiritual and creative health. It's about balance!
