The volunteers at Bain & Co. provided incredible support as we prepared for the annual Holiday Party for Warrior Families. Their team went above and beyond, wrapping gifts, organizing the WOKC Celebration Closet, and delivering gifts to the AutoNation headquarters prior to the party. We were thrilled with the opportunity to work with Bain & Co. and appreciate their generosity and support of the WOKC mission!
Why We Give:
Carolyn & David Alvey
“David and I love the mission of Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer,” said Carolyn Alvey. “From the moment we met the team and learned how they minister to families, we knew we wanted to embrace this organization. We will continue to support WOKC, which is making a huge impact on our community, and we look forward to helping beat childhood cancer in 2026.” — David and Carolyn Alvey
Thanks to Billy Howell and The Cajun Turkey Company for the $5,000 Donation!
WOKC is profoundly grateful to Billy Howell and The Cajun Turkey Company for such enormous generosity. Our mission is to serve families and help find a cure for sweet Mabel and courageous young heroes like her.
“Three years ago, a Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer event changed my life. When our granddaughter Mabel was diagnosed with leukemia last year, WOKC became our lifeline. Through The Cajun Turkey Company, we donate 10% of our first-week-of-December sales—$5,000 this year and $13,000 over the past three years—to families fighting childhood cancer.” — Billy Howell, Founder, The Cajun Turkey Company
WOKC's Annual Holiday Party
On December 14, Warrior Families from throughout the DFW Metroplex were treated to a joyful Disney-themed Holiday Celebration, thanks to WOKC's incredible partners at AutoNation. Their team went the extra mile in transforming the AutoNation Operations Center into an immersive Winter Wonderland-complete with Disney characters and a delightful lineup of activities.
Families enjoyed letter-writing to Santa, cookie and ornament decorating, a festive photo booth, a petting zoo, and Santa and his sleigh. The families were treated to lunch, and each family took home a large bag of presents for the entire family.
A heartfelt thank-you to our generous hosts at AutoNation, who have welcomed our Warrior Families for many years, and to Hunt Consolidated for donating many of the wonderful gifts. Because of their generosity and holiday spirit, our families experienced an abundance of joy, connection, and celebration this season!
WOKC is excited to announce that we exceeded our end-of-year fundraising goal with our Hope Can't Take A Holiday campaign. Thank you to everyone who supported the mission - we couldn't do it without you!

Rock The 2026 Benefitting WOKC
Emerald City Band
Emerald City Band hosts Dallas’ best New Year’s Eve party each year, and this year they invited WOKC to be the event’s charity partner. The band donated a portion of the proceeds to support WOKC’s mission and provided multiple opportunities for brand awareness through event advertising.
The party was—well—FABULOUS (it is Emerald City on NYE!). Toyota Music Factory was filled with guests from across DFW, all ready to ring in 2026 with a band we’ve loved since they formed in 1983. Thank you, Emerald City Band, for getting WOKC’s 2026 off to such a wonderful start!
Thank you!
Kaleidoscope Park
Partner for our year end campaign
We would like to thank Kaleidoscope Park and their CEO Shawn Jackson for allowing WOKC to use their wonderful park to kick off our Hope Can't Take A Holiday campaign in early December. This is a fantastic space in Frisco (just off of the Tollway) and we would highly recommend it for any corporate and/or community event you are planning.
