Mushroom Collection

"Petrichor"

The snail curls up
inside her tiny shell
upon the moss

and sweetly sleeps
against the hollow trunk,

next to the
molding mushrooms,

under a canopy of branches
that are dripping
jewels of rain,

and something inside
my soul relaxes.
