Hello my little hot crossed buns! The Wild Card is out NEXT WEEK!!!!! I hope you're having an okay week and taking care of yourselves. Mr. Archer broke his wrist when climbing over a baby gate, and we had to take Demon Baby to the ER at 4am because of congestion (he was having a hard time breathing) so we are having a WEEK. Everyone is okay! But it's been a bit of chaos over here. And yes, this is yet ANOTHER injury for Mr. Archer to add to the list (which you can find here). After I posted this a few months ago, he reminded me that I forgot to include “knocked out two front teeth.” Sigh. What am I going to do with this guy? Good thing he's so handsome. As you probably have seen, all the arcs for The Wild Card are out and readers are speculating about what's next. I've dropped plenty of hints (come on, you know me, I love to tease) but I'm not ready to spill the beans yet. I recommend following me on Instagram here. We post ARC sign up on cover reveal days. Something interesting coming soon :) |

Have you pre-ordered The Wild Card yet? The New Romantics bookstore is doing a very cool pre-order with a signed bookplate and art print of Ward and Phoebe, the psycho cat, here. PS - I'm in the process of having Illustrating Han do art of the rest of the Storm guys to match Ward and Alexei and I'm so excited!! |

Tour tickets are selling fast and I'm looking forward to giving you all big hugs!! LA and Portland are sold out but they have a waitlist. Salt Lake and Vancouver are almost gone! Unfortunately, we've cancelled the Minneapolis event due to the ongoing situation. If you bought a ticket, you've already received an email from Tropes and Trifles, but you can see more from me on the post Wednesday on my Instagram. Please consider purchasing the copy from them because a) they're a small business b) they have way too many copies of The Wild Card now c) they'll give you a signed bookplate and art print with your copy and d) they are really cool, lovely people, doing amazing things in their community. |

If you need a laugh, I can't recommend Marcello Hernandez's Netflix comedy special enough. HILARIOUS. I was sitting on the couch, all alone, laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. He has such a goofy, silly, playful way about him that totally aligns with my sense of humor, and his jokes about women's bodysuits still have me giggling. |

Luke Dawson and Harper Braedon could have been friends. They trade shifts at the same diner, share classes at school, and are driven by their greatest passions: hockey for Dawson and jewelry-making for Harper. But some things aren't meant to be. Dawson thinks Harper is stuck-up, too good for anything resembling school spirit. Harper thinks Dawson is a self-centered jock, a perfect fit for a hockey team that seems to divert all the budget from the arts departments.
When his beloved hockey coach gets fired for misallocation of funds, Dawson is terrified that all his plans for impressing scouts are vanishing before his eyes. A rumor goes around that Harper was the one who got him fired, and suddenly she’s public enemy number one.
But even with their mutual dislike at an all-time high, Harper and Dawson can’t escape splitting shifts forever. Can forced proximity help them find some common ground, or will long-held grudges finally succeed in bringing them both down? |

What would you do with a second chance at your first time? Following a bad breakup, Willow Lewis tackles a re-do list with the help of her brother’s best friend in this sweet and sexy new romance from USA Today bestselling author Denise Williams.
Willow experienced all her big firsts with her high school sweetheart. Now, reeling from their very public breakup, she wants to get a re-do on those important moments. While dog-sitting for her brother during his deployment, she has a chance to start over and spending time with his best friend gives her the confidence to start checking items off her “Re-Do list.”
Deacon promised his best friend two things when Cruz left for a deployment: that he’d look out for Willow, and that he’d keep his hands off Cruz’s baby sister. “Operation Re-Do” is innocent enough at first: Deacon likes Willow and he’s willing to help her out any way he can. But when the list of firsts turns from a first dance to first kisses and more, Deacon can’t deny the connection he feels to Willow.
As Deacon’s and Willow’s firsts turn to seconds, thirds, and fourths, this pair can’t get enough of each other—and they support each other through new challenges. But they are both aware there’s an end date to Willow’s time in town… and even if she were to stay, Deacon doesn’t know how to choose between his loyalty to his closest friend and the woman he’s fallen in love with. With no more romantic moments on her list for them to re-do, can these two still find a way to stay together? |
