Hi First name / Slothy!

Welcome to the first Vine of 2026! I am so excited to have you in my corner of the internet! Without further ado, story time!

The start of my year has been nothing like I planned.

My family is navigating something heavy right now—the kind of thing that puts everything else on pause and reminds you what actually matters. And then, in the middle of that, I had an influx of new business.

Like they always say…" with every darkness comes lightness and good fortune!"

So when everyone's talking about getting organized (hello, National Get Organized Month), and I'm just trying to keep my head above water?

It's a lot.

I wish I were further ahead on content and the systems updates I want to make in the business. But life has a way of humbling you—reminding you what deserves your focus right now.

Which is why I'm such a firm believer in easing into the year and reflecting before committing to new habits and routines.

It's also why I don't honor New Year's Day as the start of my year. My birthday is that for me—which is 2 weeks away. So technically, I have plenty of time to get my shit together.

I say all this to say: If you haven't mapped out your year, bought the planner, started the new routine, or reorganized your pantry—YOU'RE OKAY.

Rushing into something new is the fastest way to not actually do it. You burn out and lose interest. It's okay to take your time and be intentional about the shifts you want to see.

They don't all have to happen in January.

Things take as long as they take, and they happen when they're meant to happen. Honor your pace and give yourself grace.

I hope that after reading this, you remember that you have a whole year to figure it out. Don't feed into the chaotic, hectic energy of a new year. Instead, reframe it to be about what's possible—and how you have 365 days to get there.

Use how you feel now to ground you and motivate you for what could be.

XOXO,
Renee

What’s New
“Under the Canopy”
This blog post exists because one of YOU asked for it.

A fellow slothy replied to me, asking about paper/written planners—and I turned that question into a full blog. This is exactly why I say The Vine is at its best when it's fueled by you all. Your questions become content. Your struggles become solutions.

In this post, I'm breaking down 5 practical tips to make your paper planner actually work for you (not the other way around). No perfectionism. No pressure. Just systems that stick.

LIFE AT SAVVY SLOTH & HOW TO WORK WITH ME
We had our first Clarity Call this week, and it was a huge success! It's crazy how much can be accomplished in one dedicated hour. If relief is what you need, consider booking one of these so you can get started on your goals now.

We're also booked up for Home Organization this month and are in the process of signing a new Project Management client. So our only open slot for January is Marketing Strategy. However, all other services are available to book for February and March.

Once I wrap up January projects, I'll be hitting the ground running on our new resource: "How to Market Yourself." This guide will be hitting the sloth universe before the end of Q1.

I'd love your input: What's the biggest marketing challenge you're facing right now? Reply and let me know—it'll help me make sure this guide actually solves your problems.
What I’m Loving
(That You Might Too)
A few things bringing me clarity, ease, and sustainable success this week:
What's bringing you clarity, ease, and sustainable success? Let me know here, and I'll check it out and may even feature it in a future Vine!

Stay Savvy, Slothies!
Renee T
P.S. The Vine is better when it's a conversation. Hit reply and tell me: Are you easing into 2026 or diving in headfirst? I read every response, and your questions might just become my next blog post. 😉
