I hope you had a lovely weekend! I went to Atlanta on Friday, and while I was only there for 24 hours, I made the most of it. I saw thirteen different friends, played tennis, ate delicous food, and soaked in every second I could with all of my Georgia peeps.

I spent part of the weekend at a birthday party for my sweet friend, Kim. She’s one of those wonderful people who always makes sure everyone else’s birthday gets celebrated, so of course we had to make a big deal over hers.

 

I'm sharing what I got her below, as well as a great gift I received while visiting. 

 

The party was hosted by Amy, who not only has the gift of hospitality galore, she's the owner of the fancy toilet I love. Choose your friends wisely, girls!

 

The weekend made me more determined than ever to stay healthy as long as possible. Today on the Living Well website, I've written TWO posts.

This is the gift I brought my friend, although I chose sterling silver. Several years ago, five of us traveled to Paris, and I thought the five circles represented our group well. It would also be great for a 50th birthday, 5th anniversary, or just because it's really pretty. :)

We have another book recommendation! Faye emailed to suggest Theo of Golden. It's gotten fabulous reviews! “Theo of Golden is a beautifully crafted novel about the power of creative generosity, the importance of wonder to a purposeful life, and the invisible threads of kindness that bind us to one another.” I am adding it to my every growing TBR pile.

 

My friend, Jeanette, gave me this beautiful layered paper gift. She makes these! She did a beautiful horse for Rachel, and a Star Wars one for JD. She's even having a one-woman show at the local art center. I love how creative people are! I'm a fan of her dog ones, especially.

The birthday party included homemade ice cream! Is there anything better? This 1 pint wonder is on sale at a great price!

This is another gift that Kim received. Have you heard of Cotopaxi? They are all the rage! The super hip, hiker types love them. “It's become a favorite among hikers, travelers, and eco-conscious folks who are tired of boring colors and empty corporate promises.” I received one earlier for my birthday and it's awesome! Why be boring?

THIS is so me. It's a relaxed, Vneck sweater, in a wonderful neutral. Yes, it comes in a lot of other bright colors, but this is my vibe!

I'd wear it with either dark rinse or black jeans, a great purse and these trending sneakers!
