The legislation will protect Florida consumers of music therapy by ensuring that they are receiving safe and quality services from a clinically trained and educated healthcare provider. SB478/HB829 aims to ensure only licensed and credentialed professionals can provide music therapy in Florida. Furthermore, this bill will help families and employers locate professionally credentialed music therapists when they are in need of services.
