Hi friend,

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I know your plate is full, so I’m really grateful you’re here. Thank you. My promise is to make this space feel like a pause - something honest, useful, and worth opening. I write these with the same depth of care as I bring to my coaching.

Every month, before I write a single word of a newsletter, I sit with one question:

“What do women like us actually need right now?”

Not resolutions. Not forced optimism. Not “new year, new you” pressure.

What I keep hearing from clients and feeling myself - is this:

You don’t need a new you. You need a space to come back to yourself.

The part of you that’s been drowned out by responsibility. The part that’s tired
of performing. The part that wants to feel visible, grounded, and
unmistakably you again.

And that’s where this month’s newsletter begins.

A Moment from
My Week
A client sat back in her chair and said:
“I don’t recognize myself anymore…
but I miss me.”
Not dramatic. Not broken. Just honest.
I’ve heard this same truth in different words - from so many women lately.
It’s not that you’ve disappeared.
It’s that your outer life hasn’t caught up to your inner evolution…yet.
January is not asking you to
reinvent yourself.
It’s asking you to reclaim yourself.

What I’m Seeing in Women Right Now

Across coaching sessions and circles, these themes keep showing up:
  • You’ve grown internally but the world still sees
    the older version of you.
  • You’ve built credibility and a life that “works,”
but it no longer matches your inner truth.
  • You want to feel seen without having
    to push or pretend.
  • You’re craving alignment not achievement.
  • You’re done being the emotional and logistical rock for everyone while neglecting yourself.
This is not about perfection. It’s about presence.
And the science backs this up.

Research shows:

"People make competence, warmth, and trust judgments within seconds - heavily influenced by appearance cues, even when individuals believe they are ‘not judging."
Yale School of Management, 2018

In other words: You may be carrying the experience, expertise, and leadership but if your outer expression hasn’t caught up with your inner identity, you’re being misread before you even begin.

This Month’s Insight:
Your Personal Brand Begins Inside

Before you build your personal brand and style foundation…

Before you define colors, silhouettes, or signature pieces…

You need clarity on one essential truth:

Who is the woman I am becoming and how does she want to be seen?

Your personal brand is not clothing. It’s not polish. It’s not “executive presence.”

It’s the emotional truth of you - expressed clearly, confidently, and unapologetically.

And that’s exactly what this month’s immersive workshop is designed to help you access.

And here’s the part most women don’t want to accept…

Harvard’s nonverbal behavior research found that:
"Outfits serve as identity signals the brain uses instantly to categorize a person as a leader, peer, or support role."
Amy Cuddy, Harvard University, 2010

Meaning: Before you say a single word, your presence is already speaking for you.

If your inner evolution has outpaced your outer expression, the world may still be responding to an outdated version of you - not the woman you’ve become.

January Event:

Personal Brand & Style to Life

January Catalyst Prompt

Take one slow breath and answer:

"Who is the woman I am becoming and what part of her am I ready to stop hiding?"

Let your body and heart answer, not your mind.

This is the question that shifts everything.
Three Micro Moves for January
Micro steps → massive internal momentum (remember: clarity comes from motion, not thinking)

1. Name the Room You Want to Walk Into Differently
Work? Home? With friends? With a partner? Choose one.
Ask: What energy do I want to bring there this month?

2. Release One Old Narrative That No Longer Fits
Write it down. Cross it out. Speak the new one out loud. (Your subconscious listens.)

3. Dress One Day This Month as Your Future Self
Not for anyone else - for you. Notice how your energy shifts when you feel aligned.

A Closing Note

If you’ve been feeling that internal nudge or tension - that pulls:
“Something in me is changing. Let me catch up to myself.”

Let this be the moment you pause long enough to hear her.

You don’t need more resolutions. You don’t need more pushing. You need recognition - of yourself, by yourself.

I’d love to support you in that return.

Warmly,

Lucy Regan
