With his debut cookbook, French Classics, chef Matthew Ryle bridges the gap between
Michelin-level craft and approachable home cooking. His mission is to show that French food isn't intimidating through his recipes and his restaurants, Maison François and Café François in London.
8pm French Wine Talk & Tasting
by Graham Chidgey
In 1965, Graham took over Laytons Fine Wines in London, running it until its sale in 1997. Under his 32 years of leadership, Laytons not only offered classic French wines but also introduced innovations like Bordeaux sales 'en primeur,' domaine-bottled Burgundies, and late-disgorged vintage Champagne.
The menu will complement the wines:
Country terrine
Celeriac remoulade
Duck Parmentier
Chicory salad, capers, parsley
Chocolate mousse
