This year’s Chinese New Year will be on the 17th of February and a number of city centre businesses would love to invite everyone to celebrate with them. 

 

Lion Dance performances will be hosted at i-Tea, CV Mart, To Pho, and China Mini Market - with more venues to be added. 

 

The Lion Dance Performance is a traditional Chinese cultural performance that is enjoyed and celebrated by many different cultures and countries around the world. 

 

With talented dancers dressed in cultural outfits to mimic the look and movements of a lion, it's believed to bring good-luck and fortune to those around it. So don't miss out on this performance and embrace the coming new year by sharing good-luck and prayers for a smooth year ahead full of welcome changes!

Time is running out to get your free energy audit and government-backed grant funding.

 

The Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) has helped over 900 SMEs in Coventry and Warwickshire cut their energy costs.

 

Now, it's your turn, but you only have until March 2026 to get your free energy audit and apply for government-backed grant funding up to £100,000 (subject to availability and criteria).

 

Check if you're eligible through the Business Growth West Midlands website.

As part of this webinar, Jonathan Howl from the BEAS team will walk through the process of BEAS and explain the potential benefits to your business. You'll also hear from Matthew Drage from SAM Leisure, who worked with the BEAS team to install solar panels, new more energy efficient doors and LED lighting. This resulted in lower energy bills, improved energy efficiency and a lower carbon footprint, saving over £9,500 per year.
