Assalamu-Alaikum ICN Al-Falah Academy Families!

We hope this message finds you and your families safe and well during these extremely cold winter days, in sha’ Allah. Thank you for your flexibility during last Saturday’s transition to E-Learning. Your cooperation allows us to continue prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students while maintaining continuity in learning.

🏆 Quiz Bowl Dates Updated

For 2nd–7th Grade | During School Hours at Fischer

Quiz Bowl dates have been adjusted due to last week's E-Learning.

This is one of our most popular and exciting events of the year! Study guides are available on Alma. All students participate, and no registration is required.

February 7: 3rd & 6th Grades

February 14: 4th & 7th Grades

🌙 Ramadan Fest

Ramadan is less than a month away and the AFA staff is excited to welcome this blessed time with our students. This year, Ramadan Fest will be held during school hours at Fischer on February 21st, allowing all students to participate. Students will learn about welcoming Ramadan through engaging lessons, art, crafts, and activities. Additional details are included in the flyer below.

Our popular Eid Toy Drive 🧸 will take place at the same time and location. Families may drop off toy donations during student drop-off that day. Please see flyer below for more details and ideas. Donation guidelines and ideas can be found in the flyer below.

🎨 Ramadan Fest Art Gallery

As part of our upcoming Ramadan Fest on February 21st, we are excited to announce a Ramadan-themed Art Gallery for our students.
Students are invited to create an art piece at home inspired by Ramadan and submit it to their Connections teacher. All submitted artwork will be displayed during Ramadan Fest. Students will compete within their group. Student participation is optional.

Groups:

PreK – Grade 3
Grades 4 – 7

Voting & Prizes:

Teachers will vote on submissions. First-place winners from each group will receive a prize. 📌 Please write the student’s name and grade on the back of the artwork to ensure fair voting.

Submission Deadline: February 14

📖 Qur'an Competition

Registration is ongoing for our Annual Qur’an Competition, a beautiful opportunity to strengthen our connection with the Book of Allah (swt) and encourage Qur’anic excellence among our community. Levels do fill up quickly, so please register ASAP.
