When you send out decisions, make a list of the families you really want to yield. 

 

Call them and tell them how much you want their child to enroll. 

Call them yourself, or make a plan for faculty and school leaders to call each family on your top list.

Speaking of decision time, school spirit wear is a great uniform for the day you send out decisions or the day decisions are back due. 

 

Wear school merch, 

Get your nails done in school colors, 

Snap on that tie clip made with a school logo, 

Wear those croc jibbets. 

 

Lean into celebrating decisions, and invite your team and the broader school community into the moment. This season is an emotional roller coaster. A few well-placed visual cues help everyone stay oriented, and they might even give you that extra burst of energy to carry you over the finish line.

3. 💬 Tell them in their own words.  

 

If you have had families transfer to your school from another school, ask them: "What would you tell families about our school that helped you make your decision?" 

 

Write down what they say.
