Last week I worked an event for a client.
Room full of incredible women. Founders. CEOs.
Women doing genuinely cool shit.

And in between sessions, cocktails, and bathroom lines,
I kept hearing the same thing:
“I’m good… just tired.”
“Everything’s fine, I’m just doing a lot.”
“I don’t even know what I’d ask for help with.”

Everyone sounded capable as hell.
And also like they were holding their breath.

I left thinking: wow, we’re all really good at looking fine.

Ya girl cleans up nice, right?! Being in a house full of boys, it's fun to get dolled up every now and then for a girl's night of empowerment!

Being good at what you do is exactly how you end up doing too much alone.

Because you can handle it.
Because it’s faster to just do it yourself.
Because explaining feels annoying.
Because nothing is technically broken.

Until you realize you’re the glue.

And if you step back even a little, things feel… wobbly.

No one says that part out loud in a room full of impressive women.

Most women don’t hit a breaking point because they’re failing.

They hit it because they’re quietly acting as:
the reminder
the checker
the backup plan
the one who knows where everything lives

Nothing is on fire.
But everything depends on them.

That kind of pressure doesn’t show up on a task list.
It just lives in your body.

This week, instead of asking:
What should I add next?”

Ask yourself:
What would I feel relieved to not be responsible for anymore?

Not outsource.
Not delegate.
Not fix.
Just… relieved.

Pay attention to the first answer that comes up.
That’s not laziness. That’s data.

No hype.
No “new you.”
Just steady support that fits into real life.
You don’t need to be falling apart to want help.
You just don’t.
