Hi First name / Slothy!

When is this year going to get good? 😅

I’m such a fan of numerology, astrology, and all things woo woo (if you haven’t already noticed)… and everything “in the stars” keeps telling me that 2026 is supposed to be my year.

But right now? It’s not exactly giving that. lol.

Still, in true Savvy fashion, I’m trusting the timing and letting life unfold as it will. The traditional New Year wasn’t the reset I hoped for. My personal New Year didn’t do the trick either. So at this point, I’m like… maybe Chinese New Year will be the saving grace? 🤞

And honestly, this little “please turn around already” feeling has had me thinking about my clients lately, because I’ve noticed most people fall into one of two camps:

  1. The first is the Type B woman who has never claimed “organized” as a personality trait, but a life circumstance is nudging her into a new approach. A move. A family emergency. A career shift. Something happens, and suddenly it’s like… okay, we can’t wing it anymore.
  2. The second is the woman who is historically VERY organized. She knows systems. She’s lived by them. She’s always been able to figure it out… until recently. She’s also experiencing a life shift that’s challenging her normal way of doing things, and for the first time, she’s like, “Wait… I might need support.”
Different starting points, same reality: life has its own agenda.

No matter how much you plan, vision board, pray, or hope really hard… life is still going to happen. And when it does, it can make you question everything.
I’m not sharing this to scare the living daylights out of you, I’m sharing it because it’s the reminder I keep coming back to:

Real systems have to function even when life gets messy.

They’re not just “cute routines” for when you’re thriving.

They’re pillars.

Structure.

Something that grounds you when everything else feels wobbly.

They should be the thing you can lean on when your brain is tired and your capacity is low.

So if you don’t have something like that in your life right now… it might be time to prioritize building it.

Because the goal isn’t to control life. The goal is to feel steadier.

So my question for you is:

What’s a system that’s working for you these days?

And if you’re reading this like, “Um… I have no clue,” tell me:

What system do you wish you had in place?

(Hit reply and let's chat! I really do read your responses, and they genuinely make my day.)

XOXO,
Renee

What’s New
“Under the Canopy”
If you’re the default project manager, file finder, and final decision-maker for everything… I see you.

In this blog, I’m sharing the essential workflows to document first so projects run smoother, handoffs don’t fall apart, and you can finally step out of the weeds—without your team burning out or dropping the ball.

LIFE AT SAVVY SLOTH & HOW TO WORK WITH ME
First, I think I may have cracked the code on breaking a creative slump. I bring you the Idea Drop Doc!

I made this during my recent creative slump, and it’s been helping me so much. It's a simple Google Doc with a tab dedicated to each month. Whenever an idea comes to me or if I have zero ideas, I jot down what's in my brain at that very moment. No editing. No perfection. Just raw thoughts and ideas.

It’s basically a place to brain dump ideas, thoughts, and things I want to share — without pressuring myself to make it “good” in the moment. I get it out of my head first, then revise and edit it later for prime time.

It’s freeing. And I’ve been able to write and create content so much faster since using it. It's how this newsletter got done today. So if you need a little “system” to get your creative juices flowing. I highly recommend copying my template.

Second, we’re officially booked for Project Management and Home Organization this month, with one more slot open for Marketing.

Now is an excellent time to claim your spot for some extra support, as spots are booking up fast.

And, if you know you’re ready for a shift as soon as this snowcrete melts… hit the button below to lock in a spot for this spring.
What I’m Loving
(That You Might Too)
A few things bringing me clarity, ease, and sustainable success this week:
For Ease over Hustle
A leisure device
I brought my iPad back from the dead, and it only has books, games, and Pinterest on it. I’m claiming this as my leisure device. It’s not for business, productivity, yapping, or scrolling. It’s for fun! And quite honestly, we need more of that in our lives.
What's bringing you clarity, ease, and sustainable success? Let me know here, and I'll check it out and may even feature it in a future Vine!

Stay Savvy, Slothies!
Renee T
P.S. Today’s questions are: What’s a system that’s working for you these days? And if you don't have one, tell me: What system do you wish you had in place? Reply with your answers. I read every response. 😉
