🏆 Quiz Bowl

Congratulations to all the Quiz Bowl participants and those who placed last week! We are so proud of all the hard work students have done in preparing for this learning experience.
3rd and 6th graders will be competing this Saturday.
Study guides are available on Alma. All students participate, and no registration is required.

Join our administration for a casual morning of conversation about Al-Falah Academy (AFA). We value your feedback and look forward to connecting with you. Please note, this is not a forum for discussing individual student needs. To help maintain safety and a smooth flow of events, please follow the instructions below:
- Enter the building through Door 1 (main entrance) at the start time of the session you are attending.
- Sign in at the lobby table and receive a badge, which must be worn at all times during your visit.
- You will be escorted to the cafeteria.
- Please exit the building promptly at the conclusion of your session.
📖 Qur'an Competition
The Spiritual Committee of ICN in collaboration with Al-Falah Academy will be hosting its Fifth Annual Qur'an Recitation Competition! This is a wonderful opportunity for all ages to showcase their recitation skills of the Qur'an with Tajweed. Please come out and support the students. We will also hold a bake sale with the funds supporting AFA. See the flyer below for more details.

🌙 Ramadan Fest
Ramadan is less than a month away and the AFA staff is excited to welcome this blessed time with our students. This year, Ramadan Fest will be held during school hours at Fischer on February 21st, allowing all students to participate. Students will learn about welcoming Ramadan through engaging lessons, art, crafts, and activities. Additional details are included in the flyer below.
Our popular Eid Toy Drive 🧸 will take place at the same time and location. Families may drop off toy donations during student drop-off that day. Please see flyer below for more details and ideas. Donation guidelines and ideas can be found in the flyer below.
🎨 Ramadan Fest Art Gallery
As part of our upcoming Ramadan Fest on February 21st, we are excited to announce a Ramadan-themed Art Gallery for our students.
Students are invited to create an art piece at home inspired by Ramadan and submit it to their Connections teacher. All submitted artwork will be displayed during Ramadan Fest. Students will compete within their group. Student participation is optional.
Groups:
- PreK – Grade 3
- Grades 4 – 7
Voting & Prizes:
Teachers will vote on submissions. First-place winners from each group will receive a prize. 📌 Please write the student’s name and grade on the back of the artwork to ensure fair voting.
Submission Deadline: February 14
