winter ‘26 grace notes
Hey Everyone!

Don‘t leave me! We’ve been through so much together since you trusted me with your email address. Come along …

But first, Happy New Year … and Strange Winter. Today feels like Summer and like I should be planting the garden. Isn’t it strange? I’m loving it but definitely praying for a couple of those heavy Spring Storms with lots of moisture. I was able to enjoy several hours of bike riding yesterday plus a little picnic by the river. Weird and wonderful at the same time.

Well, not to be dramatic … but this is goodbye, at least for this newsletter. A couple of months ago I asked you my readers to follow me over to Substack, but I’ve recently been hacked there and had to close my account

This newsletter platform is quite expensive each month so this will be my last note from here. I will still have all of your emails in case I start another.

What I know for sure is that I’ll still be on Instagram and my YouTube channel.

Supposedly, for a creative biz … an email list is Everything. But I’m not a writer. I am better at sharing visually which is why I really love Instagram and YouTube. I’ll add those links - hoping that you will come along with me if you haven’t already.

All of my tutorials are FREE on YouTube and I just love sharing all kinds of creative ways to make beautiful things to love and to give - mostly from free things or collected treasures. Plus some silly and goofy fun. Plus a little of real life and the changes that happen … like grief. If you haven’t subscribed there I hope you will … I’ve almost reached 1000 followers and passing that mark would be such a blessing! So I invite you to come along with me there.

My tutorials are about so many different things but there are many there about one of my very favorite things which is how to make a bunch of different kinds of Junk Journals or Altered Books which can become an Art Journal, Photo Album, Recipe Keeper, Writer’s Journal, Music Journal, Bible Study Journal, Prayer Journal, Slow Stitching Journal, Reader’s Log, Gardener’s Journal, Commonplace Book … the sky is the limit!

I’m making and planning a lot of videos for my series Our Living Tapestries … nearly ready and next up very soon is my take on making a “Bulls Eye Quilt” but with a TWIST. Of course, haha! It’s soooo fun!

I have so many plans for many, many more FREE tutorials there. Older things, wiser things, including things our great-grandmas used to do and make. Repurposing antique and vintage treasures.

I’ll also link my Etsy Shoppe where I currently sell book making kits full of (in case you don’t have them or have time to collect) supplies, ephemera, textiles, vintage elements and more! Or just ephemera bundles, little handmade dolly quilts, cute embellished totes and I’m gradually adding my dozens of handmade altered book junk journals which I’ve created over the past several years - and then interspersing newly made ones into the mix as well! Some will be all paper, some all textiles, and some a mix … all to be used for any purpose desired, or just to love or to give!

So many of you have been with me since you came into my darling little Antiques and Vintage Shoppe in Poncha Springs, Sage Vintage Market - and then through the reasons I needed to close. I think only 2 people UNSUBSCRIBED. I so appreciated your support through those times and truly hope you’ll come along with me either on YouTube, Instagram, Etsy or all of the above.

You’re the best!! Thank you - whatever you decide! Thank you for being so supportive of me through these past years.

Hope to see you over on these links 👇🏻👇🏻…
