Here in San Francisco, despite our hills, it is truly walkable. Even in winter, when a “cold” night might be in the 40s, if it isn't raining, our nights are mild enough to take a stroll if you feel like it. Sidewalks abound, and every neighborhood in this 7x7-mile city has a Main Street, where one may grab a bite, listen to good music, or just take an evening stroll.
But it's not something you'd want to do if a mountain lion is roaming the streets—
Let alone hanging out LITERALLY next door.
The mini-movie above captured the lion as it stood beside our next-door neighbor's side gate. In fact, at the very end, as the camera pulls away from the mountain lion, you'll see my lobby's gate.
My garage is right next to it.
Usually, Martin and I grocery shop at night.
Thankfully, we'd done so the night before.
Otherwise, we might have had an unexpected guest for dinner.
Worse yet, we may have served AS dinner for this super-sized kitty.
