ORELAND WEEKLY BUILDING UPDATE
2/13/26

Bridge Family,

We are grateful for another full and fruitful week in the building! Here’s a look at what has taken place over the past several days and what’s coming up next.

Life in the Building Last Week:
  • Work Day Success
This past Saturday’s work day was better than I hoped for! The first coat of masonry sealer was applied to every area we set out to complete. We are so thankful for everyone who gave their time and energy to move this project forward.
  • Second Coat Applied
On Monday, a smaller team returned to apply the second coat of sealer, fully preparing the walls for the next step in the process.
  • Mold Inhibitor Application
On Wednesday, the company applying the mold inhibitor came to spray all of the Fellowship Hall walls. This is an important step in protecting the space as we prepare for renovation.

Looking Ahead:
  • Demolition Beginning
Delran, our contractor, hopes to begin their portion of the demolition on Monday, February 16th!
  • Marked by Prayer – Sunday, February 15th
We are on track for the congregation to gather this Sunday, February 15th @ 12:30pm, to write prayers and scripture on the walls before the drywall go back up. We would love for you to join us for this! Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.
  • Next In-Person Update – February 22nd
Our next in-person update will take place during our church-wide brunch on February 22nd @ 9:30am, where we look forward to connecting and answering questions you may have.
Prayer Requests:
Our facility manager will be away for the next 6 days. Please pray for those who will be stepping in to cover responsibilities during his absence, and for continued smooth progress in the building.

Thank you for your prayers, your service, and your steady encouragement as we continue moving forward together!

With gratitude,
Bridge Community Church
