Often, the hardest part of making something happen is getting the ball rolling, First name / friend. And ironically, that push is usually one simple email.

Trips don’t stall just because life is busy. Yes, there are work deadlines. The school calendar. The budget. The timing.

But more often, they stall because we never take the first step.

It’s easy to move things to “next year” or “someday.” It feels responsible. Practical.

But perfect timing doesn’t exist. It’s a myth that keeps good ideas parked in the background.

And when it comes to the trips that live in the back of your mind -- the safari, the Nile cruise, the multi-country itinerary you’ve been daydreaming about -- it’s easy to assume you’ll get to them eventually.

Eventually drifts.

Here’s the subtle-not-so-subtle nudge: you don’t need a perfect moment to begin. You just need to start by clicking a button. (It’s waiting for you at the bottom of this email)

Dare we say, now is a great time….

WORTH BOOKING NOW
Places that Can't Wait

Some experiences only get better with age – wine, wisdom, and well-earned perspective. But others? They’re best enjoyed while you’ve got the energy, curiosity, and flexibility to fully soak them in.

The most unforgettable trips are the ones that pull you out of your routine and drop you somewhere extraordinary, and with as many of your people as you can manage. If any of these are on your list, they don't belong solely to your dreams, they’re worth doing.

Here are a few experiences that deserve a spot at the top of your list if they're not there already.

SOUTH AFRICA - SAFARI
Waking up to the sounds of the savannah. Morning game drives with a local guide. Evenings around the fire under a sky full of stars. A safari is a reset button for your soul. Add Cape Town for culture and design, plus a few days in the Winelands, and you’ve got one of the most comprehensive holidays out there. If you haven’t done safari, South Africa is a high-reward place to start.
ICONIC TRAIN THROUGH…Malaysia unfolds beyond your window. Jungle, rice paddies, small villages drifting past. Long lunches in the dining car. Evenings in the open-air observation carriage as the landscape turns inky. Polished wood, pressed linens, old-world glamour without the stiffness. But there’s a depth to this train that goes beyond good looks. If you’re going to do a grand train once in your life, this is a strong contender.
BRAZIL'S AMAZON
Waking to mist rising off the river. Skiffs slipping through narrow tributaries. Pink dolphins, tangled canopy, the scale of it all. The Amazon recalibrates your senses. Bookend it with Rio for rhythm and architecture, and Trancoso for barefoot days by the sea, and you have a Brazil arc that moves from electric to wild to grounded.
EGYPT
Standing in front of the pyramids and realizing they are bigger than your brain can process. Sailing the Nile between temples older than most civilizations. Sunrise over the Valley of the Kings. Egypt discombobulates your sense of time. Pair Cairo’s layered chaos with a few days lingering in Luxor's countryside, and you have a trip that is foundational.

Make it Happen…Swap Dreaming for Planning
Give It a Name + a Timeline
Don’t say “someday.” Say “Our 10-Year Anniversary in South Africa” or “Next Summer’s Family Trip to Italy.” Once you name it, it moves from idea to plan.

Reverse-Engineer the Budget
Not sure what your dream trip costs? Bring me in early. I’ll map out pricing, payment timelines, and what’s realistic so you can move forward with clarity.

Start Early. Earlier Than You Think.
The most sought-after destinations are booking 6–12+ months out, and that window is stretching. Planning ahead secures the right hotel, the right guide, the right flights. Not the leftovers.

These trips can feel big at the start, but I move travelers from “we’ve been talking about it” to "wheels up" every week. It doesn’t need to linger in the back of your mind. There’s something powerful about deciding, and then going for it.

And please remember, everyone’s list looks different.

Maybe it’s the Northern Lights. Maybe it’s two uninterrupted weeks in Italy. Maybe it’s the simplicity of a beautiful beach trip with your parents or your kids while everyone is still under one roof.

Whatever’s on your list, I’d be honored to help you make it real.

P.S. There’s no prize for waiting for the “perfect” moment.
