Hi First name / friend! As we near the end of February, I’ve been reflecting on how quickly the weeks seem to move once the new year finds its rhythm. What began with fresh goals and anticipation has settled into the steady faithfulness of everyday life—and it’s often right here, in the ordinary, that God does His most meaningful work. At Eternal Echoes, we continue to see how He moves through simple conversations and shared testimonies. I’m so grateful you’re part of this community—whether you’ve been here from the very beginning or just recently tuned in. Here's what you'll find in this newsletter: - Ministry update: the podcast and beyond
- Recent podcast episodes
- What I'm reading
- Guest appearance on Echos of Impact
- Devotional

The Eternal Echoes podcast is back in full swing, with new episodes released every other Wednesday. We have an incredible lineup of guests over the next few months—men, women, and couples who carry powerful testimonies of God’s faithfulness. Each conversation is a reminder that the Lord is still writing beautiful redemption stories in every season of life. I’m especially looking forward to an upcoming episode with a well-known voice in the Christian space. She joined me for a rich and timely conversation about the urgent need for sages in the church today—wise, seasoned believers who walk alongside the next generation. It’s a message that feels deeply aligned with the heart behind Eternal Echoes. I’m keeping her identity under wraps until release day, but trust me…you won’t want to miss it! |

As I prayerfully look to expand the ministry beyond the podcast, I’ll be stepping into several local assisted living communities this month to explore opportunities to connect with residents who may be feeling lonely or simply in need of a listening ear. A core part of my heart behind Eternal Echoes has always been to honor and draw out the stories of those who might otherwise feel overlooked or unheard. There is such sacred ground in sitting with someone, hearing their story, and reminding them that their life still echoes with purpose and meaning. I’m expectant and excited to see the doors the Lord opens in this next step, and how He continues to knit generations together in unexpected ways. Pictured above: Me with Rachel T., an 89-year-old woman who I've been visiting regularly for the past year. We spend a couple hours talking, and I've learned all about her amazing life! She is as sharp as a tack and has a great sense of humor. I'm meeting her again for coffee this coming Sunday! |

THE LATEST FROM THE PODCAST |

If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, struggling with sleep, or longing to live from a place of peace instead of pressure, this episode is for you… I speak with Dr. Vickie Kasper—a former OB-GYN who delivered over 5,000 babies before a rare neuromuscular disease abruptly ended her medical career, reshaped her identity, and forced her into a season of deep, unavoidable rest. Drawing from both her faith and medical expertise, she unpacks why sleep is not a luxury, but a God-designed necessity for healing—physically, mentally, and spiritually. We explore: - Why good sleep actually starts in the morning
- How chronic busyness and anxiety sabotage rest
- What happens in your brain when you don’t get deep sleep
- The connection between faith, identity, and healthy habits
- Practical tools to quiet a racing mind and rest in God’s sovereignty
Wise words worth echoing: - “Good sleep starts in the morning when you wake up.”
- “The reason we can't turn off our mind at night is because we've never turned off our mind during the day.”
- “Our bodies are so fearfully and wonderfully made. And there's a lot of work that goes on during sleep. When we try to skip that, our bodies don't function properly and neither do our minds.”
- “Are you reinforcing the person that you want to become or are you reinforcing the person you don't want to be?”

What do you do when life doesn’t go according to plan? In this episode, I speak with author, podcaster, and longtime caregiver Ruthie Gray to talk about faith, calling, and God’s sustaining grace in the “sandwich season” of life—those years when you’re caring for aging parents while still raising children. Ruthie shares her powerful story of stepping into caregiving at age 45, walking through 15 years of medical crises, transitions, and responsibilities that stretched her far beyond what she thought she could handle. We explore: - Holding your plans loosely and trusting God day by day
- Finding “joy gems” in the middle of chaos
- Caring for yourself without guilt while caring for others
- Discovering purpose and calling in seasons you didn’t choose
- Leaning into Scripture, gratitude, and praise when life feels overwhelming
Wise words worth echoing: - “I think He just wanted to teach me that I wasn't in control. I was never in control. He was always in control of every situation.”
- “Some days you just have to take it a day at a time and there's enough grace for every single day.”
- “Not everything is terrible at the same time.”

In doing a lot of reading and research, I regularly come across articles that speak to the importance of intergenerational connection and the deep value of honoring our elders. These pieces encourage me in the work I'm doing and serve as gentle reminders (or “God winks”) that this ministry isn't random or niche–it's deeply needed. Here are a few I've come across lately: NOTABLE QUOTE: “For decades, God has been preparing you for these golden years. They are golden. You've never had so much life experience. And if you've been faithful and walked by the Spirit, you've never had more wisdom…oh, how our young adults need your perspective, guidance, and counsel.” ….can I get an AMEN?! NOTABLE QUOTE: “Sixty percent of Gen Z adults said that they wished they could return to a time before everyone was 'plugged in.'…the resulting analysis, done last year, found that members of Gen Z appear to be mining the past to enrich their present lives — especially by fostering a greater appreciation for offline living.” NOTABLE QUOTE: "Our generation has tasted every lesser pleasure. What we want now is fullness. What if the real antidote to our overstimulated age isn’t less religion but more transcendence?" NOTABLE QUOTE: "Psalm 145:4 compels older generations to “commend [God’s] works to another, and . . . declare [his] mighty acts.” Let’s pray for God to help us find ways to speak into this generation, who are decidedly not too distracted or impervious to the great call of Jesus Christ and his marvelous gospel." NOTABLE QUOTE: "A great paradox of being alive in this civilization is that we have come to dread and devalue the triumph of having lived, forgetting that to grow old is not a punishment but a privilege — that of having survived loneliness of childhood, the brash insecurity of youth, the turmoil of middle age, in order to begin the continuous creative act of holding on while letting go." I came across this series last year and have been loving it. While it's not faith-based, there's still a lot of wisdom to be gleaned from these aging saints! |

GUEST APPEARANCE ON ECHOS OF IMPACT |
|
Back in January, I had the honor of being a guest on the Echos of Impact podcast, hosted by Briana and Cherise. I connected with them through instagram, where we bonded over our heart for sharing stories of God's goodness and faithfulness that “echo” across the ages. It was so fun being on their show and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share part of my story, including what led me to launch Eternal Echoes! Here's a snapshot of what we discussed: - The difference between good opportunities and God-ordained direction
- Wilderness seasons as preparation—not punishment
- Releasing performance, striving, and false identity
- Singleness, surrender, and trusting God with unmet desires
- Why older generations often feel unseen—and why their wisdom matters
- Legacy, obedience, and living with an eternal perspective
