Construction in Progress
Bridge Church - Fort Saskatchewan
Together we are helping Bridge Church construct Bridge Commons – a hub within their community to bring those who do not yet know Jesus into meaningful proximity with a church community
"The project is progressing smoothly, and we're incredibly grateful to God for every partner involved – from the earth movers to the framers and everyone in between. A special thanks to Stewards for helping us bring the Gospel to Fort Saskatchewan.
The building is designed to create community – housing our church, a non-profit daycare, and other local agencies – and it wouldn't be possible without their support."
“We’d appreciate continued prayer for a smooth finish and for God to bring the right long-term partners to help us reach this community well.”
STEWARDS EXPLAINED
Question: Why does Stewards exist when there are traditional banks?
What challenges do churches face with conventional financing?
Answer: Traditional banks play an important role in the financial system, but churches often encounter unique challenges when seeking financing.
Church revenue is typically based on tithes rather than conventional “income”, which can make underwriting more complex. Some banks may also have limited appetite for properties that are purpose-built for worship.
Stewards exists to bridge that gap. We understand how churches operate and tailor financing accordingly, while maintaining rigorous and disciplined lending standards.
At its heart, Stewards Canada is a Christian non-profit organization that exists to support churches in advancing God's Kingdom – driven by mission, not shareholders.
