Hosted by the Alabama Post Conviction Relief Project and author Elizabeth Vartkessian, the evening will include: - A screening of the documentary film
- Context on the legal posture of the case
- A live Q&A with members of Sonny’s legal team

For those local to Alabama, consider participating in the Save Sonny 24-hour vigil. - Start: Monday, February 16 at 7:30 AM
- End: Tuesday, February 17 at 7:30 AM
- Location: The public sidewalk in front of The Governor’s Mansion |

We'll kickoff the event with a gathering from 7:30–8:30 AM on Monday. This is a quiet, visible witness, not a rally. The goal is to create sustained presence and reflection before an irreversible act. Volunteers will maintain a continuous, peaceful presence in pairs throughout the 24 hours. If you are local and able to participate, we'd love for you to join Team Sonny on the ground! Even committing to one hour helps ensure there is no gap in presence. |

We’re also looking for volunteers to help throughout the day, greeting attendees, sharing information, and helping direct foot traffic to ensure everything runs smoothly.
