My heart is with those affected by the ongoing conflicts abroad, and I hope you and your loved ones are safe & grounded. In times when the world feels so heavy, I find myself turning inward… away from not only the weight of the global news but also the equally frantic pace of the "design industry" right now. There is a specific rhythm to the design world … a relentless drumbeat of "next", "new", and "now". But no matter how the industry pivots, I find myself stepping away from all that external noise. I am choosing to return to my own instincts … to the quiet feelings and simple desires that this season stirs within. |
There is an instinctive relief in the first whisper of March. After months of heavy textures and saturated palettes, the spirit of spring feels like a deep, cleansing breath for both the soul and the space. |

personal reflections of the season |
Spring carries a nostalgic pull for me… a season of travel and intentional presence. I hold such fond memories of the years when my daughter was in school, and Spring Break was our dedicated window for global travels. Now that she is in college, our rhythm has shifted. We’ve traded those grand itineraries for a different kind of anticipation in March : the simple joy of her coming home. We now save our international journeys for later in the year, a change that feels like a beautiful, natural evolution of our traditions. |
But even as these seasons of life change, my eye for the essentials of a well-loved home remains the same. For me, the onset of this season is defined by these three simple Sensory Pillars: 01. Softness ( The Tactile ) : The comfort of spring blooms & airy linens 02. Citrus ( The Essence ) : That crisp , fresh energy lingering in the morning air 03. Pastels ( The Visual ) : The chalky hues waking up in nature all around |

In design, my signature styling tip for March is the art of the Transitional Layering. We still have that lingering nip in the evening air, but our wardrobes and interiors finally start to feel breathable and light. This shift is reflected in my Curated Edit for the season… |

The CH25 Lounge Chair by Hans J Wegner is the masterclass in design, a perfect blend of intentional simplicity and everyday functionality. The hand-woven paper cord seat is breathable and tactile, making it the ultimate piece for a sun-drenched reading nook as we transition away from heavy upholstery. It feels structural yet effortless … the definition of quiet luxury. Its true beauty is its versatility ; come fall or winter, it serves as a perfect canvas to layer on a warm cashmere throw. |

My Fav' recipe for SPRING |
For me, lemon is the ultimate palate cleanser, and nothing captures the zesty essence of March quite like this Lemon Cake. I have made this so many times I could likely bake it in my sleep … it’s light, sophisticated, and perfectly encapsulates the transition to spring. It’s my absolute go-to for slow brunches on the patio. |

This season, I am moving away from bold floral motifs and toward Subdued Botanicals. I'm currently in love with prints that feature wispy wildflowers in muted pastels. They offer an organic charm that feels "collected" rather than "themed". They pair beautifully with natural textures like linen, bringing a sense of a waking garden into the home without the visual noise. |
So, as we step into Spring, I invite you to look around your own sanctuary and ask: What can I edit and unburden to let my home breathe? True luxury isn't always about what we add to a space; often, it’s found in the elegance of creating room for the light to settle. A home should be designed to hold & restore you, long after the trends have faded. I hope you find yourself leaning into the softness this season, embracing the refreshing energy that Spring unveils ! Warmly, |
