This week, I challenge you to delete all scrolling apps off your phone for 7 days. I know it sounds bold - but stay with me.
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, any doom scrolling apps - delete them.
Keep Messenger or text so you can stay in touch. Keep all of the scrolling apps on your computer to access them in smaller doses and as needed.
Why? Because constant scrolling trains your brain to crave stimulation. Every swipe delivers small dopamine hits that increase anxiety, shorten attention span, and keep your nervous system in a subtle state of alert.
Most of us are not addicted to our phones - we are conditioned to reach for distraction.
This reset is about reclaiming your attention. When the apps are off your phone, your mind gets quieter, your focus strengthens, and you stop absorbing everyone else’s emotions all day long. The platforms are still available on your computer when you intentionally choose them.
This month, practice noticing what no longer feels aligned.
Not to judge it. Not to rush to change it. Simply to notice.
Pay attention to the conversations that drain you faster than they used to. The environments that feel heavier than they once did. The patterns that no longer feel like a true reflection of who you are now.
You do not need to force anything.
Awareness itself is where change begins.
When you notice what no longer fits, your brain begins loosening its attachment to it. What once felt automatic begins losing its hold. What once felt permanent begins opening.
This is how realignment happens. Quietly. Naturally.
