We had 22 generous supporters and who raised over $1,400 for our foster dogs! We also want to thank everyone who donated the auction items – everything from mugs to tea towels to plush blankets. Every dollar goes directly to the dogs rescued by Little Paws and fuels our lifesaving mission.

Marley is a sweet 7-year-old blonde doxie who weighs 15 lbs and enjoys lounging with his humans. After warming up to new people, he is wonderful with both adults, children, and dogs alike. He has some separation anxiety and is shy at first. Marley is currently using belly bands with regular potty breaks, loves his crate and a quiet environment, and is a gentle soul ready. He'd do wonderfully in a home with another calm, gentle dog who could be his buddy and help him feel more confident when his people need to step out.

Any dog breed can enter, so share with your friends! Like our Gogo Calendar Photo Contest, you enter your dog's photo and the top photos make it into the coloring book.
You can enter your dog's photo for $10, and vote for your dog's photo for just $1 per vote. ANY breed/dog can enter, so share with your friends and family! You can pre-order a coloring book for $12 and receive it by late March.
The most-voted photos will be transformed into coloring pages for the coloring book, and the winner with the most votes will be featured on the cover and receive free coloring books!

Every now and then we take in two pups who are completely inseparable. They sleep pressed against each other, follow one another from room to room, and if one has to go to the vet, the other waits by the door. Bonded pairs like adoptable Hoss and Little Joe (pictured above) remind us just how deep that connection can be.
When dogs come into rescue, they have often lost their home, their routine, and their human family. If they still have each other, that relationship becomes their sense of safety and stability. Separating them would mean adding another loss during an already overwhelming transition, and that is something we simply are not willing to do.
That is why we adopt bonded pairs out together. We see the difference it makes. They adjust more smoothly, build confidence in new environments, and settle into their new homes with greater ease because they are not facing change alone.
Many families who adopt bonded pairs tell us the same thing: their home feels fuller in the best possible way. There is more laughter, more personality, and more love woven into everyday moments. Watching two dogs who already adore each other continue their life together is something special, and being the person who gets to give them that safe place brings a kind of joy that is hard to describe.
Protecting that kind of bond is one of the meaningful parts of what we do at Little Paws.
Benji and Max came to Little Paws when their family realized they no longer had enough time for them. It was a difficult decision, but it meant giving the boys a fresh start.
It was clear they were a bonded pair. They were used to doing everything together, and we knew they needed to stay that way. Not long after, the right family came along and welcomed both of them into their home.

Adopting Max and Benji and having them join our family was truly a blessing. They bring so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives every day. We adore them and cannot imagine our lives without them.

We are heartbroken to say that Charlie, one of our long-term fosters, recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Charlie came to Little Paws back in June with a history of IVDD and insulin. He received so much love and care with his foster parents. But after he developed seizures that couldn't be helped with medication, Charlie lost motor control, stopped eating, and was suffering. Rest in peace, sweet Charlie.
