My goodness, I have had a trying week! When life gets like that, I say these words to myself and keep on keeping on.
“Do the next right thing”
When I get overwhelmed and want to throw my hands up or stick my head in the sand, I think of one small thing I can do that needs doing, then do it. Then think of another. And another. While I'm calming my feathers a bit, I'm also getting stuff done. Those small accomplishments make me feel productive and remind me that everything I do matters. And sometimes I get my best thinking done when I'm doing those mindless tasks!
