As we've mentioned in a couple of previous emails, we're excited to have invested time and money in working with
LeeAnn K Photography on some long-overdue brand strategy this year. At the same time, we're looking at systems, processes, and workflows to make some things easier for us and better for you.
A truism for small businesses is that we're constantly being pitched new and improved tools, some of which make reasonable claims about simplifying certain aspects of our business, while others make wildly outlandish claims about quadrupling revenue while we're napping.
Over the years, we've seen folks jump from system to system, forever chasing the latest introductory offer that promises to solve all problems perfectly. We don't operate this way. There are no perfect solutions, but we're definitely in favor of finding the best option
for you. We just can't function if we're switching and migrating every other week, so we tend to find something that works and be pretty dang loyal users for years. Which is why we're bummed that after 8 years, we have to switch the software we use to store and deliver photo galleries to clients. I get into the why over on
Threads if you are nebby, but the bottom line is that researching and testing new options, then migrating data, is time-consuming and frustrating.
