Hi there, After a year of building something new, I’m bringing it together with something familiar — the practice of law. I’m reopening my estate planning practice, serving Tennessee clients remotely from my home in Michigan. Before stepping away from traditional practice, I spent more than a decade as a trusts and estates attorney, helping families navigate planning, probate, and the complicated intersection of money, grief, and family dynamics. That work never really left me; it just evolved. |
This past year, I’ve been busy building The Death Readiness Podcast and creating educational tools like The Death Readiness Playbook to help families understand estate planning in real-world terms. That experience clarified something for me: education is powerful, but sometimes people also need an attorney to help them turn decisions into documents. So I’m combining these two parts of my professional life. |
I now offer Tennessee estate planning services focused on practical, clear planning for Tennessee families. My approach remains the same as it has always been: thoughtful planning, plain-English explanations, and estate plans designed to work in real life, not just on paper. This next chapter feels less like starting over and more like coming home, with a broader perspective on what families actually need when they plan for the future. |
I’m currently accepting Tennessee estate planning clients, and referrals are always appreciated. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead. And in the meantime, The Death Readiness Podcast will continue on its regular schedule because education and planning have always gone hand in hand for me. |
