Oupsy…

There are good months, and others that are more challenging. An unfortunate human error deleted all the machine learning models used in our scanner. Thanks to our resilient architecture, it didn't impact the website, but it slowed us down on our roadmap. We were planning to double the speed and throughput of the scanner, but that will have to wait until next month when all the models are retrained.

We didn't just wait around for things to finish; we used that time to polish existing features and add a few things here and there. Below is what got deployed yesterday.
What's New and Improved?

Fair value estimation: In a few clicks, get the fair value of any list. Open the list, open the toolbox (the gear icon), and click on the fair value button. Decide (in your currency) the threshold under which you consider a card to be bulk, enter the bulk price for one thousand cards, adjust a few more options, and validate. Very practical when you want to buy an entire collection or sell a large bunch of your cards.
Add by set improvements: This feature got a lot of love! We improved the flow of the add buttons, made the missing cards more obvious, and added a slider to resize the cards, filters, and more.
Delete account: Tried Gestic but it's not what you were looking for? You can now delete your account yourself. Please be aware that absolutely everything will be deleted—shared lists, logins, messages, etc.—without the possibility of restoring it.
Add price: When adding cards by number, you now have the price displayed above the picture, which will help you decide if you want to sleeve it or not…
Export: The export option in the toolbox now allows you to apply filters before exporting. You can also decide to export as a list instead of a file! We have also added an option to export a list in a format ready to import on SpellWeave

Highlighted Feature of the Month: Export

This month we will focus on a simple but practical feature: The export function.

Why? Sometimes you want to be able to share the content of a list, or share some cards somewhere else. The export function lets you do that in a very flexible way!
How to do it: On the home page, open the list you want to export. You can export the entire list, or you can first apply some filters to export only a subset of it. In the toolbox, simply select the filter option if needed, and then click on export.

Format: In the export window, you will be able to use some pre-selected formats (Arena or SpellWeave) as well as personalize what you want to export. Just select the format (comma, tabulation) and the columns you want.

Options: Once you have decided the format you want to export, you can then decide if you want to export your list with the filters you have applied, or the entire list. Then, decide if you want to download it as a file or simply export it into another list (you need to create the destination list first).

As simple as that! You can import and export to and from Gestic in many different formats. Your data is not locked in, and we want to make sure you can also use other tools, like deck builders or marketplaces!

As always, We Need Your Input!

We need your help to keep growing—please let us know which local shops you want to see on Gestic. You can see the list of onboarded stores on your configuration page.

What’s Next?
For the next release we are hoping to bring big a new AI model for the scanner, which will improve the speed of the recognition.

Thanks for being an incredible part of Gestic's journey. Your support means the world to us,
