Have you ever hesitated to cut into a newly purchased pattern? I certainly have. What if I make a mistake or need to alter it? This isn't normally a problem when I'm making quilt blocks. It only becomes a problem when I'm making anything else (apparel, bags, plushie toys, etc.).
 
So ... what's the solution?
