Legacy Residential Homes residents recently attended
Hamilton County’s Annual Mayor’s Career Expo
, where they explored career pathways, connected with local employers, and learned about future job opportunities.
The event provided a valuable, hands-on experience that encouraged goal-setting, confidence, and career readiness.
Residents left feeling inspired and motivated, reinforcing LRH’s commitment to preparing youth for independence and long-term success.
Overall, the expo was both inspiring and empowering, reminding our residents that their futures are full of opportunity and that hard work and preparation can open many doors.
Flying High on Birthday Cheer
Residents and staff from Legacy Residential Homes celebrated a

Urban Air Adventure Park

The group enjoyed trampolines, obstacle courses, and fun activities that encouraged movement, laughter, and teamwork.

Mastering laundry not only ensures clothes are clean and cared for, but also helps residents build fine motor skills, organization, and confidence in managing daily tasks.
Five (5) Steps to Laundry Success:
Sort
clothes by light, dark, and delicate fabrics to prevent damage.
Use detergent safely
—laundry pods or pre-measured detergent protect against spills and over-sudsing.
Operate machines correctly
by reading care labels, selecting the right water temperature and cycle.
Dry carefully
—check labels, clean the lint trap, and remove clothes promptly to prevent wrinkles and hazards.
Clothing care
—fold, hang, and put away clothes to maintain a tidy living space.
