Hello First name / friend,
There is something exciting about the idea of your first cruise.

Waking up somewhere new. Watching the ocean from your balcony. Visiting multiple
destinations without repacking your suitcase.

But right behind that excitement usually comes a little hesitation.
        What if I get seasick?
     ⚓   Will it feel crowded?
⚓   Is it actually worth it?
How do I even choose the right one?
If you have been wondering these things, you are in very good company.

After planning cruises for so many first-time guests, I have noticed the same questions come up again and again.

So instead of guessing, here are the honest answers I give my own clients.

Modern cruise ships are built with advanced stabilizers, and most guests feel little to no motion, especially on larger ships.

Choosing a mid-ship stateroom on a lower deck can make things even more comfortable.
For most first-time cruisers, seasickness ends up being far less of an issue than they expected. Although there are exceptions based on itinerary. Sailing across the Atlantic to Europe won’t feel quite the same as coasting up the Canada coastline to Alaska.

Cruise ships are thoughtfully designed with multiple restaurants, lounges, entertainment venues, and pool areas to spread guests out.

Choosing the right fit makes all the difference.
The experience can feel very different depending on the ship and cruise line you choose. Some ships feel lively and high energy. Others feel calm and refined. Some feel like floating cities, while others feel like small boutique hotels.
This is one of the biggest surprises.

Your cruise fare typically includes:
• Your stateroom
• Multiple dining venues
• Entertainment and live shows
• Pools and onboard activities
• Kids and teen clubs
You unpack once, settle in, and your hotel moves with you from port to port. What extras are included varies with each cruise line.

For families I love Disney as they are the most all-inclusive, and for adults-only, Virgin Voyages can’t be beat!
Absolutely, when you choose the right cruise line.

Disney Cruise Line offers a refined, elevated experience with exceptional service, while still being incredibly family friendly. The entertainment and attention to detail are truly next level.
🎢 Royal Caribbean International is exciting and innovative. Think floating cities filled with activities, shows, and options for every age group.

Both create memorable experiences, just in different ways.
Alaska is one of our most requested destinations for good reason.

For this itinerary, Princess Cruises continues to be our top recommendation. Their Alaska sailings are destination focused, scenic, and thoughtfully designed to showcase glaciers and wildlife in an unforgettable way.
Want to see even more of Alaska?

A cruisetour combines land and sea, allowing you the best of both worlds!
The Bottom Line…
Your first cruise should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
When you choose the right cruise line, ship, and itinerary for your travel style, cruising becomes one of the most seamless and stress free vacations you can take.
