Hello my loves! The Wild Card has been out for over a month and I can't thank you enough for all your support you've given Ward and Jordan's book. Hearing so many of you say this is your favorite in the series just makes me so happy. I can't choose a favourite couple, I kind of fall in love with all of them, but ending this series with this book felt special and right. (Have you picked up on any hints I've left for the future?) You can read it here or listen to it on Audible here. I hope you all had a great weekend! Mr. Archer took me to a Vancouver Goldeneyes' game, the PWHL women's hockey league, and we had SO much fun. The hockey was incredible, the music was so good, and the crowd was immaculate. So many families, queer people, and women!! Such fantastic, fun vibes. We will absolutely be going to more games. Mr. Archer got very into the game, saying things like “this is fun” and “i'm stressed” and my favorite thing he yells during games, “GO IN THE NET!!!!!” |

Fun news: I'm going to Bookcon! Come see me on the hockey romance panel (with authors Bal Khabra, Rachel Reid, Kate Cochrane, Ngozi Ukazu, and Emily Rath!!!) on Sunday (info here, you need to RSVP!). I will also be signing at the PRH booth on the Saturday at 2pm but check the schedule in case that time changes (the timing between my train and my signing is a bit tight so I might only have half a face of makeup on LOL). If you're in the Syracuse area: Come say hello at Lit Actually's sports romance event, Hot Dogs and Happily Ever Afters, on Friday April 17 with my pals Grace Reilly and Rebecca Jenshak! I will be making hot dog innuendos all night :) tickets here. |

Bid on that secret project I won't shut up about! You know how I've been working away since October on a project and won't tell you anything about it? I'm almost done, and you can bid on a very early copy (also a signed copy of The Wild Card and a Vancouver Storm hat that isn't for sale anywhere). Auction is open March 20 - 22 and you can find the items here. We'll reveal the title and release date very, very soon, but for now, I'll just tell you that it's a standalone contemporary romance, single POV, grumpy sunshine, and it's NOT hockey or Dr. Beck's book. I'll send it as soon as it's done copy-edits (probably early May). Proceeds go to the ACLU, National Immigrant Law Center, and Unidos MN. |

If you saw me on tour, you heard me yapping about It's Different This Time by Joss Richard. Friends and roommates to lovers, single POV, intense, delicious yearning, and dual-timeline, a lot like Every Summer After and People You Meet on Vacation. Upon finishing this absolute BANGER of a book, I DM'd Joss and told her what an incredible writer she is. Please go read it!! It was named one of CBC's best books of 2025 for a reason! Also she has an arc of her next book as part of the Press of the Patriarchy auction!! |

Sometimes, I'm in the mood for a little non-fic, and I've been meaning to read this book for years. I already knew octopuses were smart and curious, but I had no idea how sensitive, playful, and unique they are. I could feel the awe and reverence the author had for them! She was such a spectacular storyteller, I never wanted this book to end. And now I can't wait to go back to the Vancouver Aquarium to see if I can get a look at their octopus!! |

One bubbly city girl lost in the Highlands. Three rugged Scots determined to keep her there.
Yesterday, I was a fashion influencer on a trip to a luxurious Scottish spa. Today, I’m the internet's favourite trainwreck. All it took was one embarrassing viral video to end my career and leave me stranded in the Highlands. I find shelter on Lochview Sheep Farm. It’s certainly not a luxury vacation spot… unless you count the three huge Scots running the place. There’s Cameron, the grumpy shepherd who calls me ‘princess’ when my heels get stuck in the mud… before carrying me inside. Fraser, the flirty rancher with the auburn hair, who promises to wear his kilt just for me. And Alec, the commanding farm manager, who seems to hate me… until a sudden storm sends his protective streak into overdrive. They all assume I’m just a clueless city girl. But when they find out what I’m hiding from, they swear to take care of me. Soon, I’m being kissed in freezing Scottish lochs, cuddled in front of the roaring fireplace, and being spoiled like the princess they once accused me of being. And the best part? My three handsome Highlanders are used to sharing everything… And now they want to share me. |

He ghosted me once, now he’s supposed to protect me? I don’t need a bodyguard—I run a small-town lavender farm, for bee’s sake. But when my identical twin sister lands the movie role of a lifetime that’s being shot in my hometown I get one anyway. And guess which broody, tattooed protector the studio sends to keep the paparazzi off my porch? Last month’s almost one-night stand. The guy with the wicked mouth and heated eyes who slipped out before the fun even started. But turns out the sexy jerk is excellent at rescuing me from sneaky photographers at the market. Then the coffee shop. I’m trying hard to stay mad after the third time my new bodyguard saves me. To top it all off, he’s staying in the cottage at my farm. With me. And there’s only one bed. Maybe if we finally give in and finish what we started, it’ll relieve the tension? But one night quickly turns into another. Then into late-night secrets and soft confessions we shouldn’t say out loud. Especially since he’s leaving and I’m staying, and there’s no way we can be more than a summer romance that ends far too soon. Escape into a spicy and hilarious forbidden small town rom com from #1 New York Times bestselling author Lauren Blakely! |
