A MESSAGE FROM JON CIRONE,
DEACON & TREASURER
thank you
Rolling Meadows Bible Chapel
"Greetings from the Saints at Rolling Meadows Bible Chapel,
We are pleased to say how amazingly blessed we are to be using our new building to be a light for Jesus in the new sub-division being built up all around us in Thorold.
We have been seeing more and more families from the community coming out each week and joining our fellowship. We have several new Nigerian & Indian families who have been moving from the GTA over the last 18 months as the new sub-division expands who all were looking for a place to worship and have found a home in Rolling Meadows Bible Chapel, along with a few new families from around the Niagara Region.
This past year we have been blessed to start up a new kids program, Truth Seekers, focused on reaching into the new community around us. We continue to have a growing Sunday School program, Youth Group, Mens & Ladies Studies, Young Ladies group (Diamonds), Youth Bible study and several different community outreaches throughout the year.
We count our relationship with Stewards as a true blessing from God, and share your name often with others of the amazing work you are doing!
Is investing with Stewards the same as making a donation?
Answer: No, and both play valuable roles in supporting Kingdom work.
A donation is a gift given freely without expectation of repayment and typically supports immediate ministry needs. It is an act of generosity, offered in faith, to see lives changed.
An investment, on the other hand, is capital put to work with the expectation that it will be repaid, with the expectation of earning a financial return. At Stewards Canada, those funds are used to provide mortgages to churches. The church commits to repaying the funds under agreed terms, and as the investor, you receive interest according to the terms of the investment.
In this way, invested capital can continue working overtime -- supporting churches while also providing income for the investor. Many see it as a way to align their financial stewardship with their faith while maintaining long-term sustainability.
