On my recent return from India, the garden beds were already sprouting snowdrops, crocuses, hyacinths, and tulips, daffodils! Such a bouquet of colour promised!
Though it was a short trip of less than two weeks, the journey marked a line of demarcation of a fresh cycle begun, I feel!
Priya & James’ wedding in Jaipur was an extravaganza! Hearty congratulations to the bride and groom! Wishing you both a very happy life together, side by side!
PRANA LIFE
AYURVEDA & MASSAGE
Priya Sangwanis an Ayurveda Doctor, Registered Massage Therapist and a Yoga Teacher. Growing up in India, she was fortunate to be surrounded by a family that believed in natural remedies and traditional herbs. Whenever she fell ill as a child, her grandpa would consult his book on medicinal plants, which had been passed down through generations. This early exposure sparked her interest in learning about herbs and their medicinal properties from both her family and the local community.
James Markos is a Registered Massage Therapist and a Personal Trainer. His journey into the world of health and wellness began by overcoming chronic pain in his shoulders and lower back from weightlifting and poor posture. He became a personal trainer and dove deep into the study of movement and rehabilitation. During his time in school, he was introduced to Ayurveda by Dr. Priya (now his beloved wife). His interest in Ayurveda was further sparked when he received treatments in Kerala during a visit to India. This experience highlighted the benefits and uses of Ayurveda massages, prompting him to learn how to perform Ayurveda Abhyanga (warm oil) massage from Dr. Priya. He has since incorporated this practice into his massage therapy sessions.

Your Seasonal Personal Ayurveda Consultation
Spring is a time for cleaning, cleansing, fasting and purging overstored materials, whether in your closet or your tissues.
Ayurvedais the ancient source of knowledge about how to do cleansing according to your individual needs.
It is not a one-size-fits-all program - please beware of systems that are standardized for everyone. They simply will not work for some people, and I'm sure you don't want to be the statistic. Many traditions practice cleansing, fasting, and austerity programs for spring, such as Lent.
The simplest cleansing fast is to eliminate items and practices you know are not good for you, such as drinking coffee, exercising/eating during the evening, late sleeping/waking, and 'grabbing' food at the time of hunger.
Choose one practice for your spring cleansing program that will have the most impact, such as:
Taking fruits entirely separately from other foods
Taking a new tea
Exercising in the mornings
In Ayurveda, exercise is to be done before 10 am to the point of light sweating. Shower off before allowing the sweat to dry on your skin - it's to be eliminated rather than reabsorbed.
Spring is a good time for new beginnings, so targeting the spring equinox for introducing a new practice, such as meditation, helps so much because nature is also in a renewal phase, giving support to our individual reforms. New cycles are appropriate until the Summer Solstice, when contraction begins again. Take full advantage of the spring cycle for introducing new practices from Ayurveda.
For your individual support to know how long to fast, what materials to choose, and how to record your progress for lasting results, finding your motivation for change, please contact me to help support a scientific program tailored to your unique circumstances and best health interest.

BREAKTHROUGH TO
SELF-EMPOWERMENT ONLINE
AYURVEDA MENTORSHIP
MARCH 20 - APRIL 17
My Mentorship Program is now in its fourth year, with new participants joining every spring and fall semesters.
EARLY BIRD PRICING is now extended until Mar 9, noon!
The Breakthrough to Self-Empowerment Online Ayurveda Mentorship Program focuses on participants’ Case Studies and is presented through the lens of the Ayurveda ‘Ashta Vidha Pariksha’ scientific method of analysis.
The oral tradition of learning ‘live’ with the teacher is best replicated nowadays with Zoom classes, where each participant shares equally in the circle. Some participants have been with us since the beginning!
Here are some recent testimonials from our Previous Participants:
“Jaisri ji is truly a rare and beautiful soul, inside and out. She is generous, giving, and incredibly knowledgeable in Ayurveda. I’ve had the honour of being mentored by her, and it’s a privilege to learn from such a wise and inspiring teacher. Her guidance, warmth, and depth of understanding make her an exceptional healer and mentor. I feel grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone seeking wisdom and healing.” - J.K.
“I've had a truly enriching experience, gaining a deeper understanding of classical formulas and a broader perspective on diagnosis. The programme has been instrumental in helping me develop a more holistic approach, particularly in face and tongue reading, which I'm eager to integrate into my practice. I'm excited to apply the practical insights and new strategies, such as using Lepa for discopathy, to improve patient outcomes. I highly recommend this programme to anyone looking to expand their knowledge and refine their skills, or even to improve confidence. Many thanks, Jaisri!!” -Y.O.
"I have known Jaisri Lambert for about 25 years. I first met her when I started to work as a massage therapist at the Spa at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in 2002. She taught the spa therapists how to offer the signature Ayurvedic massage treatments. I have studied pulse-therapy with her, which she teaches in Dr. Lad's traditional style. Also, I have enrolled in the Breakthrough to Self-Empowerment Online Ayurveda Mentorship Program several times. I highly recommend both, and particularly the online mentorship if you live far away. Each class over the years has had different students with varying backgrounds in Ayurveda, from amateur to well-accomplished. The case studies are a wonderful way to integrate the knowledge of Ayurveda through practical, real-life examples. May your knowledge and use of Ayurveda grow through the teachings of my beloved teacher, Jaisri Lambert." Sincerely, S.S.
"Dr. Jaisri Lambert’s Breakthrough to Self-Empowerment Ayurveda Mentorship Program was nothing short of extraordinary. Her depth of knowledge, compassionate teaching style, and ability to bridge classical Ayurveda with practical application made this program a truly empowering experience. Throughout the series, Dr. Jaisri guided us through the Eight-Fold Assessment (Ashta Vidha Pariksha)with remarkable clarity, ensuring that both seasoned practitioners and newer students could grasp its nuances. Her approach fostered collegial trust, academic rigour, and professional development, making this mentorship an invaluable resource for anyone seeking to refine their Ayurveda case management skills. One of the most impactful aspects of the program was the interactive healing circle, where participants felt truly seen and heard. The discussions were rich with insights, and Dr. Jaisri's ability to create a supportive learning environment was evident in every session. For those looking to deepen their understanding of Ayurveda and integrate its principles into their practice, this mentorship series is a must-attend. Dr. Jaisri's dedication to community-building and professional growth shines through, making this program an essential step toward mastery in Ayurveda. I highly recommend this series to anyone passionate about holistic healing and Ayurveda’s timeless wisdom!" - J.C.
THE 5 PILLARS OF SELF-CARE WITH AYURVEDA
APRIL 24 - MAY 15
This program is designed for those new to Ayurveda, to help establish a good foundation in the main support systems of individual Ayurveda living: Meditation, Morning Body Practices, Food Choices, Relationships, & Sleep.
Meditation is considered as the first and last medicine of Ayurveda because it’s able to remove the cause of the disease in the psycho-spiritual matrix, through self-realization and self-responsibility.
Morning Body Practices help address individual needs for pacifying the doshas, nourishing the tissues and building immunity of body, mind and consciousness. Each day, we can nourish our sensory systems, bones, skin, organs and inner harmonies.
Food Choices will vary season to season and year to year. Whether recovering from an illness or maintaining your unique program, tailored to your specific needs of the moment, or adapting seasonal recipes for simplicity of digestion and elimination, understanding the properties, actions and affinities of food items can help you stay balanced year-round.
Relationships reflect our mental/emotional health and can be understood through the ancient Prakruti/ Vikruti paradigm of Ayurveda. The tongue is an important organ due to our food and word choices.
Sleep is the foundation of resiliency; insufficient sleep can quickly lead to immune compromise. Prevention is the key, so sleep and awaken early. Sound sleep is a hallmark of balanced mental/ emotional health; disturbed sleep quickly upsets biorhythms, including neurotransmitters, hormones, etc.
This 4-day retreat program at the summer solstice brings together a Guru-Kula style program, emphasizing hands-on practice, vegetarian lunches together, a case study (classroom teaching example), and community-building.
This intensive professional development program introduces the basics of the 7-Level Pulse Assessment method of Dr. Lad, a renowned international Ayurveda teacher and author. Dr. Lad has approved and encouraged me to convey his detailed method of Pulse Assessment to others.
All are welcometo this program to learn a comprehensive, profound method of Pulse Assessment, combining decades of Dr. Lad’s research and clinical practice.
Teaching Pulse Assessment for Faculty, Staff and students at the gov’t. Baba Khetanath Ayurveda College & Hospital, at the invitation of the respected Dean & Principal, Dr. Shriniwas Gujjarwar, was historic! The two-day workshop provided continuing education in the previously lost art of Nadi Pareeksha.
