Does it finally feel like spring where you live? I have a few yellow crocus popping up in my front yard, which is always my sign that spring is arriving and it's time to plant radishes.

With the return of warmer weather also comes the return of my afternoon walks. And my favorite part of these walks is perusing the Free Little Libraries in my neighborhood.

You may remember that I installed a free library in my front yard for my birthday last year. There's another one a block away and a third a quarter mile beyond that. Visiting all three is the perfect afternoon jaunt that gets me away from my desk and into the world each day.

On these walks, I've also gotten into the habit of delivering copies of my book to the free libraries. I love to see when Your Attention is Sacred gets “checked out.” It's a delight to imagine my neighbors reading my words without even knowing I live so close by.

As I was making my way from library to library this week, I had a fun idea that I wanted to share. Hence why I'm writing you today…

If you (like me) enjoy going on walks and visiting free libraries – would you be interested in taking a few copies of my book with you?

This weekend, I created a new listing in my book shop called the “Free Little Library 4-Pack.”

You can drop all three off at one library, or take one copy each to three libraries. That’s totally up to you. 

⠀

By purchasing a 4-Pack, you're just making a pinky-promise to me that you'll distribute the books within the next month. Bonus points if you take a picture and email it to me after book drop-off  :)

I've made 10 of these library packs available for now, which essentially means I'm offering 40 books + treats to you all at cost.

I have no clue if anyone will be interested in this… but it's experiment in hope and a trust-fall into community.

It's also a request for help! I could use more support spreading the word about my book, and I'm hoping this might be an affordable, community-oriented way to do that.
