Hello.
SAVE THE POST OFFICE
Next month is National Lettering Writing Month and this year is the United States Post Office's 250 birthday!
I know many, if not all of us, feel we are walking around with the weight of the world on our shoulders.
How do we navigate?
What do we choose to fight for?
When do we have the time?
A sticker I received with my THE FLOW TRIP magazine subscription awhile back said,
”What if it all goes right?”
The fear of privatizing the 250 year old US Postal Service seems closer to a possibility. The post office’s history is obviously too long for this newsletter, but even before the internet it had financial troubles. The model has always been more like a non profit organization. Many times when they say they are out of money it is that they are struggling to pay retirement benefits.
One time the sending of postcards saved the post office!
A private postal service would be devastating.
Granted I would love to have cute
no junk MAIL CLUB mobiles collecting and delivering sloth mail. Oh to design the uniforms and vehicles, but that is only reality via the
no junk MAIL CLUB stationery.
One click makes your voice heard.
Second click learn more from the U.S. Mail Not For Sale sponsored by American Postal Workers Union.
After you click instead of scrolling or texting
send a postcard, it was the original texting!
