Hi First name / friend, You’ll rarely see me posting about International Women’s Day or the usual symbolic holidays. Giving women one day a year of attention feels …off. Women never stop doing extraordinary things every single day, all day. That deserves more than a once-a-year shout. Most of our clients are remarkable women holding so much. Executives, entrepreneurs, mothers, partners, singles building big lives, and a lot who somehow manage to be several of those things at once. They show up for the people in their world, often putting their own needs somewhere near the bottom of the list. So at Good Trips we celebrate women year round by using travel as a way to make them feel cared for. Sometimes it’s a solo sojourn. Sometimes it’s a beautiful bonding celebration with friends or family. And at times it’s a wellness reset. For my dearest male readers, I see you too. Many of the trips I plan begin with a husband, partner, or son who wants the women in his life to feel showered with love, energized, and full of joy. Those are some of my favorite inquiries. |

On the other side of the travel equation are the women creating memorable hotels in the world right now. Over the past decade, the number of women-led and women-owned hotels has grown dramatically. Not in a token way. Their perspective is felt in the design, the service, the atmosphere, and the details that make guests feel deeply welcomed. Here are a few women in hospitality whose hotels I’ll recommend over and over. Once you've checked them out, click that button at the end to tell me which one gets you excited so we can get you there. 🖤 |
